We had an amazing experience in a lovely home with our wonderful host Monica. She has fantastic culinary skills that excited our palettes every morning with a unique take on traditional breakfasts that were simply delicious. The mountain views are breathtaking every morning and dusk. To make our trip extra special, she delivers her homemade soaps to the bathrooms and...

This place is amazing!! We will definitely be going back! My boyfriend and I wanted a romantic getaway in the mountains, and especially during peak leaf change season. We looked at so many places but they were all booked. This pace was very hard to find online, but...I am so glad we finally stumbled upon it! Monica, the caretaker, was...

It's so HOT and crowded at my Florida home that I just had to get away to the high mountains of NC! The Bald Mountain House is situated in the middle of the Pisgah National Forest, yet only a short, easy drive from restaurants, shopping, and sight seeing. The temperatures were in the low 70's while Asheville was 90! It...

This is a great place to relax...you can see the mountains from your bedroom. The innkeeper is a gourmet. cook. You will not leave the breakfast table hungry! The only drawback is it is a 20 minute drive to get on the interstate and do anything. The closest restaurant for dinner is about 15 miles away.

Close to a great variety of fun in Asheville. But we have a hard time leaving the rocking chairs on the porch, enjoying the beautiful view, and watching all the birds at the feeders. Our place for peace and relaxation. Perfect in every way!

Bald Mountain House is a wonderful way to spend a few days in the mountains of NC! It's elevation of about 6,000 feet gives it an added cool weather advantage over places in nearby, Asheville, NC. The owners, Tony and Monica, are kind, knowledgeable and friendly! They made great suggestions for day trips in the area. Their rooms are beautiful,...

Bald Mountain House provided close access to the Appalachian Trail & luxury off trail. Easy drive to Asheville as well. The decor is absolutely adorable, both inside and out. The Blue Ridge Suite was very clean and very comfortable. It's windows provided awesome mountain breezes & views. Monica is a wonderful host & chef, who clearly enjoyed adding the special...

We stayed for 5 nights last week and really enjoyed our stay. Monica's place instantly became our all time favorite Bed and Breakfast! Her Breakfasts are so so good and we had something completely different every single day. The house is immaculate and a 10 out of 10 on the clean scale. The Bed was very comfortable and we slept...

Beautiful, secluded and well-tended grounds! Innkeeper Monica grows her own produce and serves all-natural, organic selections for breakfast and snacks. What she can't grow in her lovely heirloom garden, she sources locally from farms and natural markets. This is important to us, and it is so great to see a Bed & Breakfast on the forefront of sustainability. The details...

As we drove up to the Bald Mountain House in the dark, we felt like we were driving to the "Hotel California"!!! Don't let that scare you! The inn was a nice surprise at the end of our drive! If you want a remote, out of the way place to stay, this is it. Although it was rainy and overcast...
