We checked in here for a few days to extend our OBX trip in a rental house. I'd definitely consider this a must for future vacations! The hotel is dated, but clean and super nice big rooms! It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's a great place to stay. Oceanfront, pool, super

We stayed at the Sea Foam last summer while visiting the Outer Banks. I grew up going to the Outer Banks, but this was the first trip for our kids. They loved the motel and can't wait to go back. Adults on the trip loved it too! The staff was friendly, the motel is on the

This place is literally falling apart. The musty smell permeates everything and had to wash all clothes when we returned home. The bathroom door was splitting. The air conditioner was rusted out.The curtains were full of mold. Will NO longer stay there.

We checked in little late and lady on front desk said check out is at 10am but you can call early to request for late checkout. So that’s what we did. My wife went there, didn’t even call. Sadly after politely request of checkout at 11 lady at front desk was firm on 10am

This hotel is located right on the beach. It is retro and has a great friendly vibe. Most families have been coming here for years. I loved the retro feel - a throwback to earlier days on OBX. The biggest negative is there is a wonderful gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the

Hi Stem, aka J Perotti6! On Trip Advisor I would suggest you use the Search feature (the magnifying glass icon up top), then find the motel you want to review and there should be a "Write A Review" rectangular button to click, then write away. You posted your question under the Sea Foam Motel heading. Is that the motel you wish to post a review for? If so, go for it. Hope this helps. :)

Hi, I don't work there and I see that you posted your question many months ago, but I believe the answer to your question is yes, they accept any dogs, but only in certain rooms. They're great rooms, though! Seafoam prefers all reservations and questions be dealt with by phone. Their number is (252) 441-7320. They REQUIRE phone calls for certain rooms, including those that are pet-friendly. :) Have fun on the OBX! Kathy

Hi! I don't work there but they prefer that all reservations be made by phone. My guess would be that they do have oceanside rooms open for April. Here is their phone number: (252) 441-7320 Have a great time here on the OBX! :) Kathy

Hi! I don't work there and I see that your question is now over a year old. For the edification of others, I'll go ahead and give some info here. :) Seafoam prefers all questions and reservations be made by phone at (252) 441-7320. They are open year round. They have *some* pet-friendly rooms and a "no bark" policy. ONLY a phone call will reserve those rooms. $10 extra a day for a doggie plus payment for any damage afterward. Lastly, one has to call for room rates. Last time we stayed there oceanfront was just under $100/night off-season, which is a steal here on the OBX. :) Kathy

"All rooms are a short distance to the beach, if you stay ocean front you may want 2nd floor for a view as the dunes are pretty tall"
"Views from the second floor unobstructed by dunes."
"Choose an upper oceanfront room for the best view"
"Get a 2nd floor room for the best ocean views!"
"Bring earplugs."
