Nice room, great location but my kids can’t even walk around in the room without the office calling and telling us we are making too much noise. Ridiculous. My kids were literally laying in bed laughing and they were being too loud according to the person who complained. Do not

Spent 3 nights in an oceanfront room. Staff and housekeeping very friendly. Clean, spacious room with terrific, unobstructed ocean view. Would book again. Only downside was construction on beach access made it a little inconvenient, but will be nice when completed.

Finding a place that accepts pet without an enormous fee is hard to find. This is one of them. It was cold so walks on the beach were quick. Dogs are allowed on the beach during the off season. Negative, some people don't pick up there dogs' droppings. This is the reason

The layout of the inn was very odd. The room was nice. The hot tub and indoor pool area was clean and inviting. Overall it was a little dated. I would hesitate to stay there again. I had to leave before breakfast was started so I don't know how that was.

The Islander Inn is not for anyone who has a problem with stairs, especially lugging anything larger that a tote bag. There is no elevator. I barely made it up two flights of stairs to room 206 (recently renovated...no carpet...digital H&A...curtains replaced with great pull

Has the issue with the hot tub been resolved?
My husband and I were there end of February into early March and the hot tub was working fine for us.

It is nothing fancy, but it's not a dump. Good sized room, balcony on ocean side room. We go there two or three times a year off season. Only issue we have had are small bath towels and worn mattress.

There are 7 buildings that are connected by outside bridges or connectors. The elevator is in the #1 building. You park beneath the buildings, so you have to go up one flight to get to the first floor and two flights to get to the second floor. If you use the elevator, which is accessed from the parking lot, you don't have to climb any stairs, but you may have to go from one building to another through doors.

Islander Inn does not provide chairs or umbrellas. You can rent them from a company located just on the beach in front of the inn. If you need both it is $25 per day.
