For the last 2 years, we have continuously taken a vacation in the Outer Banks/Ocracoke; this year we purchased our first camper and decided to bring it with us for our third stay in OBX. Teeter's Campground was a great little place to stay. The owner, Bubbie, was very nice and accommodating. I made a request over the phone for...

Clean with shady campsites. Bathrooms & showers kept immaculate. Would definitely return to pet-friendly Teeter's Campground on British Cemetary Rd. Also, it's convenient to walk to just about everything in town. Onlyy negative is they have no pool

Great little spot close to the center of town. Quiet and clean. Owner was very nice and laid back. Newly renovated bathrooms are lovely. I can't remember the last time I went camping and had hot water :)! Made another reservation for October!

Stayed here after reading the reviews here. Liked the location. Easy walk to the central part of the village. We rented a golf cart. This is a must and adds to the fun. It rained a lot just prior to our arrival and there was standing water everywhere. Apparently heaviest in 7 years. The campsite was level with grass and...

We stayed at Teeter's for the fist time this past weekend. We have no complaints. It was very wet, as it had been raining non stop all week, but this isn't their fault. Very central location and close to everything Ocracoke has to offer. We loved it and plan on going back soon.

A more interesting, but longer route from WIlmington NC to New England is the Outerbanks route. If you are lucky enough to have a camper, take the time to spend a night or two at Teeter's, situated down a pretty street, just a stone's throw from the ferry dock (from Cedar Island). We specifically chose to stay at Teeter's instead...

When booking reservation, owner was very truthful about campground. No frills - right in the village. Level grass sites. Had water and electricity. Does offer full hook up but has a lot of returning summer campers who book a year ahead. Had a good experience.

It was really surprising what I read on some of these reviews. I wondered if we went to the same campground. I completely agree with the other terrible reviews. It was a joke. The one and only good thing I can say is that it is a short bicycle ride to town but other then that it was horrible. There...

I tent camped at Teeter's for a week this summer while my wife attended NCCAT and I couldn't have had a better stay. First off, the owner is an extremely nice man who runs a clean, quiet campground with tent and RV sites. Everyone I spoke with in Ocracoke who was either staying at Teeter's or had stayed at Teeter's...

I just loveOcracoke and Teeter's campground is within walking distance to everything. The place was very clean and people were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean, the best I have ever seen during our travels. They had 2 outdoor showers and 2 full bathrooms with a lot of hot water. Will will surely come back here again.
