We stopped at this campground and found it to be a nice friendly campground. They accept big rigs and have 50 amp service. Really small but you can maneuver your rig in pretty easily. They have a nail saloon on premises.

We stayed for one week at this quiet well managed campground. Rick and his family that run the campground do a good job of staying on top of things .Great memorable mountain experience. We would recommend this campground for any one looking for a nice family mountain atmosphere, well visiting the mountains.

Gypsy cabin was dirty. Floor had a black film, and there was thick lent ad dirt around mattresses. They would take 5 min to clean, so no reason for it, even at 50/night. Bathroom house was not cleaned properly/ enough. Vanity was dirty 2 days in a row, twice. Toilets were clean. Showers were nice and mostly clean inside, but...

We stayed here for one nite on our way to West Virginia. We have two young children. So my overall experience was interesting. The cabin itself is really cute, it is tiny. Ours had bunk beds and one full bed. The mattress pads are very thin. The cabin has air and the door locks. The kids did love the bunk...

My fiance and I stayed in a gypsy cabin in mid-October. The road it is on is very secluded, peaceful and is a dead end with the Catawba falls trail at the end. The office is not very professional, with a small nail salon, and children checking you in. I believe the owners live on the premise. Once we went...

I am sorry that we were not up to par, there is no excuse for having dirty bathrooms. I will be happy to offer you a free day next summer. On October 14 we lost our house in a fire and we have been very busy and have not been able to devote the proper time to the campground. Lucky...

We actually picked this place because of the comments on trip advisor. The staff is very friendly and helpful, We tent camped. The sites are a lttle closer than I expected, but overall for the price it was a nice place to stay. We had to park our car in a parking area and not at the site, that wasn't...

Gypsy cabins are TINY, they do have power and heat and some outlets but it's basically a tent made of wood with futon pads. I packed expecting that. Dead silent just the nearby creek, occasional snort of the ponies. Owners were warm and wonderful. I have some physical handicaps and they were respectful and sensitive above and beyond. Great dark...

We stayed in the Bear Haven cabin. The day before we were to leave, we got a call from the owner telling us that a pipe had burst and we would not have water in our cabin. She offered us a discount and we agreed to still make the trip. It was well worth it. The cabin was small, but...

Stayed here last summer for a short weekend trip and really enjoyed it. The sites are somewhat close together and a little small BUT the location makes up for that. It was close to an awesome hiking trail. The stream was very small and there's no swimming location at the site but there was a pool close by and my...

Had the pleasure of visiting Catawba Falls Campground today. This campground is lovely, clean and family friendly. Nice playground, a pony petting center, full service bathroom for women and men and Air Condition. the grounds are so peaceful and relaxing. The cabins are so sweet and a lot of room between campers.
