A perfect place for a small wedding. Lovely Barn venue for ceremony and reception. Plenty of outside seating and grass area where we could play the many activities they provided. We even had enough space for a game of cricket! Our family stayed in Honeysuckle Cottage ( converted outbuildings) which can sleep up to 7. It was useful having a...

Stayed her overnight as my son Grant married his new bride Stacey at Heron's farm in the beautiful barn. The whole place was booked out for our party and main guests stayed in the guest house and the converted stables. We stayed in the garden room, which overlooks the beautiful gardens and countryside. The room itself was pleasant, the bed...

Spent a couple of nights here in a converted stable with it's own kitchen / lounge. Maggie, the host, was really helpful and the cottage itself was very clean with a very comfy bed. The location is stunning with some great pubs nearby. Added benefit was that the WiFi was excellent, allowing me to get some work done as well....

Stayed in the converted barn apartment. Positives: Host helpful, Facilities good, great in the sunshine, quiet and relaxing but not off the grid. Negatives: Rooms were perhaps a little dated in terms of decoration, but a very minor negative.

Our host could not have been more helpful. We stayed for Sat night 14th March, a quiet weekend. We were offered a choice of all the accommodation available plus a small tour of other facilities available for longer stays. Breakfast in the farmhouse was good in pleasant surroundings And nothing was too much trouble. Peter...Whitstable

We stayed at Heron's Farm for almost a month over December. We live in Australia and decided to come over to visit family for Christmas. The overall setting of Herons Farm is so beautiful. It was really magical to be on a rural farm property with horses and fields to the front and back of the house. Our cottage was...

Due to our late booking for ourselves daughter and boyfriend over the Christmas period a large accommodation was unavailable, however we were offered two adjacent rustic cottages with adjoining door, which was an ideal solution. The timing of the heating was not suitably set for our needs during the Christmas cold spell, but Maggie on being asked soon ensured we...

Five of us stayed for four days over Christmas. We did not want cooked breakfasts spoiling our Christmas dinner, so we went self-catering instead of B&B. The accommodation was fine and very warm. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking. We will definitely be staying there again.

Chose to stay at Heron Farm for the first time and it will definitely be the last. The accommodation was dirty. The fitted sheet in the single bed was too small and had nail polish on it. No light outside, despite asking Maggie the owner every single day to put a bulb in for us. Also non existent Wifi in...

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. You originally booked a small cottage, I explained the size over the telephone to your husband but on arrival your husband sait it would be too small for you so we offered a larger rustic one which he liked and accepted. It was explain that we give people quiet enjoyment and do...
