At 57 years it's never too late to try something new. This was a good place to go camping for the first time. Everyone was friendly and being between the sound and walking distance of the Alantic ocean was nice and five kids with us loved it. The sound was good for paddle boarding, the beach was white and so... More

This place is well maintained but the spaces are very very close together. There seem to be a lot of permanent residents. The campers next to us took up part of our space so we had to move everything to open the slide out. The only issue with the hookup was the water connection is very low to the ground... More

Camping at St. Clair Landing is like going home!. This is no doubt the best campground on the Island. Always a wonderful experience and time while I am there. And I look forward to going back over and over again!

The campground is small enough where everyone just looks after each other, very friendly very kind. Yet it is large enough way you're not squeezed in like a can of sardines. The grounds were absolutely spotless as was the bathhouse. Most incredible sunsets you would ever want to see. I look forward to many more trips there where I already... More

I so wish I could live here year round! The most relaxing vacation spot. Super friendly people! Took my 3 year old grandson and my 11 year old niece on their 1st camping trip. They loved it. My grandson keeps talking about the Orange ball in the sky that fell in the water, best sunset you'll ever see!

Our group of six tents was perfectly placed all beside each other, which made it really easy to share breakfast and dinner with other members of our group. The fire pit was awesome for nightly roasting of marshmallows and sing-along times....and Irvin even provided the firewood. My favorite part of the whole campground is the outside shower, but they do... More

I wouldn't camp anywhere else in obx/Hatteras island. It is the perfect spot right on the sound for our pop-up and a relaxing getaway. Fantastic owners, clean bath house, very peaceful and awesome sunsets!

First time camping in hot weather and on the beach, typically a New England camper. Wide open lot lacked a little privacy as everyone was literally on top of each other - usually not a problem when camping in an RV but a bit close in tents. Oh well, great camping neighbors helped the situation. A recent hurricane damaged some... More

We have stayed up and down the outer banks in a tent and a pop up camper. We passed this sign for years. Once we stayed at Camp Hatteras next door and my husband looked over the fence and said why aren't we staying over there? From then on we did! It's affordable, great sound front to walk on or... Finding this campground was one of my absolute favorite parts of my visit to OBX!! The view of the sunsets over the water was picture perfect every night. There was enough space for kids to play freely, enjoy water sports or just kick back and nap on the pier. The feel is very much safe, clean and friendly. The owners... More
