I have never seen anything similar, vert bad place to stay. - When we arrive, nobody opened the door, we called the mobile phone of the owner of the house and nobody answer for 30 minutes. - as we were in the ground floor, our window was just in the road so it was too noisy - we were waiting...

Ideal B&B very close to port and touristic area. Hosts are very nice and helpful too. The room was always nice and clean and enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace :) We were surrounded with restaurants and cafe's ...spoilt for choice and no regrets at all :)

Nice little B&B. We did not have a reservation, but fortunately she had a room available for us. Good space for the room. We were on the ground floor, so no view but I was grateful not to have to lug suitcases up and down a few flights of stairs, as is so common in Italian B&Bs. Breakfast was upstairs,...

Very friendly and helpful owners. We didn't stay in their place. We arrived to Trapani and were trying to contact the owner of the apartment we rented and pre-paid over the internet. We parked the car and went to the owner's store to ask for help and use their phone. They were very helpful and called the number several times....

First, the positives: Our group of four had a clean place to sleep very near the port and less than two blocks from a very lively passaggiata. What we didn't get: -- Access to a terrace; -- A useful street map and orientation conversation; -- Initially, the number of beds we booked; -- Any kind of apology for putting us...

On our arrival Marilena welcomed us with coffee and cake - is there a better way to start off your holiday? The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and there is a kitchen for the guests' disposal. We were made to feel like family - always greeted gently and politely and the terrace was always available for our use....

Very comfortable, close to the port. Nice terrace too. Marilena was away the next day so gave us a voucher for breakfast (coffee and pastry) at a cafe down the road. Only criticism would be that there was a bit of black mildew in the shower cubicle; otherwise all clean with a very comfortable mattress.

We stayed at another B&B at first, which was really wonderful. When we moved we were afraid that the new hostel would not be as good, but we got a lovely surprise when we arrived. The greeting was nice, our room was clean and spacey, and the terass was great. Breakfast included brioche, milk, cereal, coffee, juice and cake, so...

La Terrazza sul Porto in Trapani is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It is a very comfortable unassuming place and Marilena and her husband are both terrific. It has all the qualities of a home from home and you are made to feel very welcome and part of a large family. It is also conveniently close to the...

“If the terrace is a selling point for you, say so when you book. Or if you don't mind being put into nearby overflow space, say that. Another tip: since you won't get a general welcome chat about the town, go to the tourist office by the port for a good street map from helpful English speakers.”
