I stayed 7 nights in this hotel in July 2020 (during the Coronavirus pandemic).
Everything was up to my expectations; breakfast was good (with hot dishes: scrambled eggs, sausages, fried eggs and bacon, a lot of salami, cheeses, chorizo, ham, etc.) A large selection of pastries. Hot and cold drinks: coffee, juices, water, tea, etc. The hotel is extra clean and one can see the cleaning staff if very efficient. Also very discreet (they don't wake you up in the morning whikle cleaning the room on top of yours!). The front desk/reception staff were all also friendly and helpful. A small but important detail: the water pressure in the shower is good. Another more important detail: the bed is very confortable. But for me, 2 things made may stay extra pleasant: the location of the hotel right in the city center next to the beach and the 180 degrees view from my room's large balcony onto the beach/sea. I will definitely stay again at Miramar if i need a hotel another time in Lloret! A big thanks to all the staff; no exception!!

Sitting in the airport waiting to go home and thought I would give the hotel the thumbs up. On arrival little disappointed as we had thought we had booked a room with sea view and balcony. Reception staff were very understanding and allowed is to up grade, we did get charged but it was well worth it. Room was spotless and cleaner came in every day. Bed has to the most comfy we have slept in on holiday.
The hotel pool on the roof was beautiful and never busy, could be the time of year, again spotless. Not a kids pool so wouldn't recommend if going with young kids or teens bit there is always the beach.
We were half-board and dinning room is small but food is grand, we had breakfast and only opted for dinner once. Hotel is in the quieter part of lloreta de mar with beautiful restaurants in front of it and literally across the road from the beach. Behind the hotel are lots of wee streets with shops and bars to sit and watch the world go by.
Just a 5min walk to what they call the strip. You can see precovid it was probably buzzing but just not there yet so not the place if looking a lively holiday.
If going a week or so and have never been would recommend a day trip to Barcelona, it didn't disappoint.. cheaper to get your own bus there and station not far from hotel and we prebooked the hop on hop off bus,fab day..
If booking easyjet backage is the only draw back transfer took nearly 2hrs not the 1hr they stated
So if looking a relaxing hotel with everything at your doorstep then this is a lovely spot.

Having paid for half board for 6 nights in a “4 star hotel” we had high hopes for the hotel.
When we checked in, we didn’t pay the extra 20 euros a night for the sea view room, and we’re given a room with a side view of the sea, overlooking an alleyway. The room was okay, but the cleanliness wasn’t what you expect from a 4*. Crumbs and dust under the beds, lamps at the side of the bed were thick with dust etc. There were no bottles of water in the fridge etc which you expect when abroad.

The pastries/fruit & cold options at breakfast were lovely, however the hot options weren’t fantastic unless you like watery scrambled eggs and hotdog sausages & chicken goujons or chips for breakfast.

The evening meal we tried the first night, then ate out every night after that. There were very limited options, pasta which never tastes nice when stood about being kept warm, fish and pizza, but we were in Spain and didn’t want basic English takeaway options really, we expected better of the evening meal options.

We had an issue part way through the holiday (which was no fault of the hotels) of the guests next door to our room banging on our door at 3am and trying to get in. When we left the room in the morning they’d been sick all over our door. We were moved to a sea view room free of charge, which wasn’t much cleaner than the first room, with peoples greasy footprints still on the balcony glass, and muddy footprints on the wall. You’d expect housekeeping to be wiping these off in a 4* hotel.

Rooftop pool was amazing and amazing views, and the location couldn’t have been much better.

Overall it was okay, but we expected better from the hotel. Not sure how it’s classed as 4*

I can't believe this is advertised as a 4 star superior hotel, we booked a standard room (as we've always done for holidays and never disappointed). This hotel was not as expected as the room was tiny, dated and a window that looked into an alleyway a few feet away from neighbouring hotel window. We had to pay an extra 200 Euros to change to a sea view with balcony. The room was bigger but very dated and shabby. Toiletries very limited only supplied shampoo not conditioner, bar soap not shower gel and moisturiser. The hairdryer which I thought was broken and I was told I couldn't use it on setting 2 only 1 as it cut out, very difficult to dry my long hair. Yes quite a lot of choice for breakfast, but small breakfast room at back of hotel so you don't want to linger there. The hotel is across the road from the beach, which is good, but beach is gritty sand and quite steep into sea. Lloret de mar is a very busy place and quite dated, there are a lot of younger people and so noisy in early hours of morning so kept being woken at night. Expensive beach chairs and umbrella 8 Euros for each item. Would I go to lloret de mar again, definitely not

Fabulous hotel, location and staff. Had a corner sea view room on the 2nd floor which was perfect and included a free safe! Really nice shower gel, soap and body moisturiser, which smelt lovely, plus earbuds and nail files!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is second to none, right in the middle of all the shops, restaurants etc… but quiet at night. The pool area is lovely but we went to the beach everyday. It’s a bright modern clean hotel, cafe attached and popular tapas restaurant practically on the beach.

The sunbed hire is very expensive (24€/day for 2 people) and not close to the water, so we bought a large umbrella (15€) and lay on the beach, right in front of the sea. The ‘sand’ is very very small glass type beads and REALLY comfortable to lie on as it moulds to your body, much more comfortable than the beds and easy to stick your umbrella in too. However, it makes it a bit tricky going into to the sea but I soon get the hang of it, I only fell in once! If you have small children, go to the far right of the beach, there’s no slope there and rock pools.

I would definitely recommend and will be going back to the Miramar, it was excellent.

One word of warning: book a taxi before you go!!! Girona airport is tiny and there were no taxi waiting that weren’t booked. My phone wasn’t working, the next bus to Lloret was 4 hours, so we waited an hour and a half for a bus to Girona, then waited nearly an hour for a bus to Lloret…. it took 4.5 hours to do a 30 minute taxi ride! Ring the hotel before you go and they’ll book one for you.

The staff members were friendly and helpful, the maid did a good job with cleaning our room, and I personally thought the beds were comfortable.

We didn't pay to have breakfast or dinner included with our stay but we payed 10 Euros per person to have breakfast the first morning we were there. It was an all you can eat breakfast with several options and the food tasted very well.

The pool was nice but the water was extremely cold. I am sure during the summer it feels good but during the fall it's better to just enjoy the view.

I have just returned from a slightly damp week in Lloret.
For the third time I chose the Hotel Miramar.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that all of the bedrooms have had a complete refit and upgrade.
The bedroom is in a soft and very comfortable pastel oatmeal shade.
The bed was brand new and had a very comfortable mattress. It felt almost as though it was one of the new memory foam ones. I slept really well.
The wardrobe is now open-plan and more than adequate for two people staying one or two weeks.
The safe in the wardrobe is strong and simple to use.
The bathroom was well laid out with a large, walk in shower.
The shower its self was great. A real deluge of lovely hot water.
As is often the case, this hotel is made by the high quality of the staff.
From reception to Breakfast Room to outside covered restaurant the staff were excellent. Attentive and knowledgeable, they were a delight.
As I was suffering from a knee problem, the ladies in the breakfast room even made and brought my coffee to me every morning.
The breakfast was well cooked, well presented and tasty with a huge range of choice.
In the outside restaurant the choices are interesting and I can happily say that I had some great lunches and suppers.
My thanks go to all at the hotel for making my stay an excellent experience.

Fantastic location, very nice staff, clean and fresh, food superb, cannot fault anything. Just make sure when booking to ask for a sea view room, not all rooms have a balcony. Bars, restaurants, beach, whatever you wish for just in hand. Lovely Spanish guitar concerts in a nearby church. We loved our stay, thank you very much for your care.

The hotel was lovely and clean, when we arrived and were given our room, it was dark and depressing. It overlooked an alleyway, so I went straight down to reception and asked if we could upgrade, this was facilitated quickly and the extra money was paid. It was so well worth the extra, if you are ever staying here, get a room overlooking the beach.
