Stayed here for a few nights. The rooms are ok but need some love. Whilst the decor is fine, there are a lot of issues. Air con didn't work half the time and the batteries in the remote died in the middle of the night so we couldn't turn it off. Fridge froze everything (even with thermostat on warmest setting)...

This motel had the last available family room on New Years Day between Sydney and Eden. From the look of the photos, and fairly positive reviews, we were pretty happy to snap it up. We arrived late, at 8.30pm, and after collecting the room keys went to drop our stuff before going out to find dinner. The room was big...

Paid top dollar $240 for a king delux room. It was 2 single beds pushed together. Not comfortable. There was 1 pillow each with one long decorative cushion. Not very delux! Doona had no cover, just a sheet underneath and on top. Room smelt stagnant. Very thin walls allowed all noise in for disruptive sleep. Curtains werent clipped on properly...

Arrived NYE 2016 from a booking 5 weeks prior. The Queen room had a good queen size bed but that's it ! Room space was tight, shower had paint peeling off it, bench surfaces sticky, tiles cracked in shower and the pool was a slimy green. Car parking was very tight and overall a very disappointing and overpriced experience.

From the pictures on the website we were expecting a much higher quality of accommodation. The pool was completely unusable, the rooms were tiny, extremely dated and unclean. Our television didn't work. The bathroom was particularly bad, with mouldy grouting and flaked paint. Extremely overpriced, would not go back.

The Halfway motel is conveniently located off the A1 (although this can make for a little traffic noise) at the end of Eden. Check in and out was easy and the rooms spacious, clean and up to date. Parking was also easy. One minor comment was that one of the lampshades in our room was a little worse for wear...

I have given the Halfway Motel a rating of 3/5 due to several factors. Firstly, the motel is conveniently located on Imlay St, right before the start of the main shops in town & opposite the Eden Information Centre. The new manager Tracey was very accommodating & cheery throughout our stay there. She was incredibly pleasant to deal with. I...

Poor value, very basic and dated accommodation. Overheard staff dealing with a complaint from a neighbouring room and the staff were rude and dismissive. Reasonably well located and close to supermarket but there are many better options, even for just an overnight stop.
