We stopped overnite on the return to Darwin and the pub was the only place to eat on a Monday nite in the quiet wet season. I haven't really stopped here in about 35 years and the place hadn't changed. We enjoyed a couple of cold beers outside and listened to the banter of the locals. The restaurant opened at...

My apologies to the Pine Creek Motel, but in order to write a review of the Pine Creek Township it was necessary to select a business first and yours was it. Would the reader please bear in mind that this review is about my impressions of the township and not the Pine Creek Motel. After taking the township diversion sign,...

So our room here was comfortable and OK for a very cheap hotel in the middle of nowhere. But the food, especially the uncooked vegetables were not. I was sick as a result. Service was fine though it was quite annoying that we couldn't have a game of pool with our son in the only bar in town (must be...

My wife had a huge chicken parmi , while I had a bbq pulled pork on Turkish bread. Mine was delicious with a spicy sauce and well cooked meat on a fresh Turkish roll with chips on the side. The chicken was cooked perfectly and served with chips and a salad.

Cold beer, friendly staff, great service and recommend the fish burger, yum! We really enjoyed sitting in the front courtyard, plenty of shade and relaxing atmosphere. Clean restrooms makes for the perfect pit stop between Darwin and Katherine. Thanks for the good times guys!

Home made food that is well made . Steak sandwich with the lot was cooked spot on . The home made sausage rolls with a dab of sauce hits the bakery spot. The eating area is set out retro which is clean and looks good. Staff are friendly, inviting and best of cook great.

We went to Pine Creek and stayed two nights. They have quite the chef in residence. My partner had pork ribs which were sensational so tender and tasty they had been smoked and they were delicious. I had a gumbo which was also great, smoked chicken prawn and chorizo. We stayed at the hotel and then went to Edith falls...

We were desperate for a meal after arriving late from Kakadu. The pub looks very much like any NT pub. We sat outdoors. My husband had a standard steak (gf) but I had the baked chicken stuffed with ham, cheese and pineapple. Very good. Pleasantly surprised to have such a good pub meal.

It's a very ordinary bush pub, with a very ordinary looking restaurant but don't be fooled. The food is excellent. Between us we had fish & chips, pork spare ribs, thai barramundi and roast pork - all well above average and better by far than the alternative (Lazy Lizard) where the food was very ordinary and they turned the TV...
