This motel was perfect for what we needed as we were in town for a Nipper's Carnival. It was walking distance to the beach and all hotels etc. and the kids had a lot of fun in the pool. The cost per night is perfectly in line for what you - we would stay again. The managers were also extremely... More

We stayed one night in this motel. We decided a bit late to travel to rainbow beach so the most hotels were already booked out. So we called this motel if they they have a room for us. That was no issue at all and the staff was really friendly. But as we entered the room and especially the bathroom... More

The receptionist was very accommodating. She set our families up on ground floor, in front of the pool. The rooms were neat and tidy and comfortable. Could not have been happier with the set up. Thank you Rainbow Sands.

As stated in the sign at the entrance to the “Resort”, it is budget family accommodation. There was no table, no hair drier, very limited cutlery and utensils, a microwave oven, an electric kettle, an air-conditioner, 1 chair and two 1-seat sofas. The room was quite cramped.

We stayed here for two nights. The accomadation is dated but is clean and comfortable. We had a ground floor unit which was great but lacked a bit of privacy as you can see into the units from the pool and carpark. A blind on the window behind the front door would be good as there are blinds on the... More

We stayed here the night before we went over to Fraser Island for the week. The reception got very confused when we booked 3 x 1 bedroom apartments together (months in advance) and we ended up all over the resort. It was difficult with little kids. It was budget but comfortable enough. Good for overnight stays.

On arrival I thought it was nicer than I expected it to be. Price very reasonable for Easter when everyone seems to hike their prices up. Friendly check in. Three storeys, no lift. It is nice and private on the top floor but you can see straight into the ground floor units if you walk past. Some parking under cover.... More

The 2 bedroom apartment we had was basic and could have done with some more blankets and kitchenware. Noise between apartments was an issue. The rooms were clean enough. The restaurant was very good as were the facilities and grounds. If you're out and about in good weather this place would be a good choice.

My wife and I often camp, but the weather was forecast to be rainy, windy and cold. We looked into getting a room. We ended up in a first floor apartment for the same price. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was not brand new, nor was it luxury. It was very nice and a very good price. We... More

We booked for 1 night before heading over to Fraser. Facilities in the room were good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. A bit out dated but funtional. The pool area was very nice and well maintained. We only met one member of staff.. a lady on reception.. quite rude and unfriendly. Made to feel like we... More
