Disgusting smell of sewerage in the room. We let the management know but they said they could not smell anything. Other guests were also complaining.fOld and dated with linen and beds that have seen better days. Can't comment on the shower because we we not game to use it.

Booked a room for 3 people, booking said 1 king and a single, which suited fine. So I presumed that there would only be the 2 beds in the room. Arrived, person in reception was very pleasant in the welcoming. Arrived in the room and found a king bed + 3 singles, bonus! Utilised the use of the king and...

Hi Bronwyn. Thank you for your feedback. As explained over the phone, when booking online the tariff inclusions are outlined explaining exactly what that tariff includes - in the case of your booking, the inclusions read, "Rate includes 3 guests, 1st 2 guests sharing 1 king bed". The same information is again presented to you when you agree to the...

Rooms tidy, clean and fairly spacious. Close to town and some of the tourist sites. Hosts good. Restaurant meal excellent as was hostess. Great train memorabilia to browse through while having a drink or waiting for meal. All in all very good.

Nice and quiet location next to a creek in the centre of town. The room is fine however the air con unit is old, smelly and noisy and needs replacing. Apparently most rooms have new units already so worth requsting when booking. The restaurant food was underwhelming. Nevertheless i would stay there again but eat elsewhere.

This was a last minute booking as all the accommodation in Port Augusta was booked out. The location of the motel alongside the river is great however this was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. Things on the floor, which hadn't been vacuumed, and the chairs were all stained with who knows what. The bed covers were ancient....

Thanks for your feedback, Bruce. Surprising how reviews can vary, we are often informed that our rooms are exceptionally clean, and of a high standard for a small rural motel. Had you stayed following the black-outs, you may be able to appreciate the difficulty vacuuming the floor with no electricity; the cleaners did the best the could under the circumstances.

I stayed for a night when I was passing through for business. The room was a bit outdated, but it was clean. The room I was in had a couch, but it made the room cluttered and you couldn't watch TV from it anyway so was useless. The TV is miniscule, my laptop screen was bigger than it! I had...
