We were in a group of 20 so got to try different types of accommodation. The villas are quite new ($178 per night in low season) and have a good river view, but the two-bedroom units ($162 per night) were built, at a guess, in the 1950’s, but have been updated inside with new bathrooms, though kitchen is pretty old....

Selected on location which can not be faulted...river frontage, walk to shops, water fun park, brewery, cafes and restaurants....but dont be fooled the remaining qualities you look for in a holiday park are well below average...intense/poor customer service, old and dated amenities..limited showers, luke warm water, crappy van sites, limited power points and no grey water points....we have been traveling...

I had booked our trip months beforehand but unfortunately the river was in flood when we were due to stay. The manager rang to say the two caravan sites we had booked were underwater but the three cabins we had booked were still ok. Bad luck but can't help nature. When we arrived we rang the bell and the manager...

Our park directly feeds into the Ovens river. It always has. The cabins are approximately 80 feet away from the rivers access. When the heavy rain came through Bright and the river reached its peak, it covered approx 10 feet of the bank, leaving 70 feet between the cabins and the river. This is plenty of room to ensure that...

Our villa had a great view of the Ovens river which unfortunately was overflowing more than normal so we didn't get to wade in it. The three bedroom villa had everything we needed for a long weekend stay except for a laundry. The park is a few minutes walk from the town centre and Woolies. The Canyon walk is right...

We stayed at this Park in July, in the new Family cabin with 3 bedrooms. We were ok with the 2 bedroom but the owner gave us the 3 bedroom, which worked out well as the our 2 kids had a bedroom to themselves. The Cabin was lovely, new, very very clean and had tv's in all the rooms. Our...

I stayed here back on the Queen's Birthday weekend with my pregnant wife, and we had a fantastic time! I'm also surprised with so many various negative reviews on here, I think people are so fragile this day in age and expect the world to be handed to them when they pay for a service. Nick and his wife were...

Turned up the last Thursday in May 2016, with my 19 year old son, cold & wet. I had ridden in the rain from yarrawonger. No one in the office @ 3:00pm. Rang the number on the door, eventually someone came. That someone tried to tell me it was peek season and a standard cabin was $185, give me brake,...

Our office is manned during business hours. If I am working out in the park when people arrive the door bell you ring goes directly to a portable phone to me. i then respond immediately. The day that you did arrive you were advised of the price accordingly. Our park is in the heart of Bright within walking distance to...

Had a cabin after many years of taking the caravan, to Bright. Total change to amenities and experience. So much so, we have booked again next year. The staff were fantastic and took pleasure in looking after us. The grounds, cabin, and resources could not be faulted. Just a great weekend in a great location.

Picture this. You've checked in, unpacked the car and walked 35m from the front of your cabin to the Ovens river water edge with a fold out chair and esky on a 28 degree day. That was my wife and I and our friends last week. There is no better situated holiday park in Bright. The place has a lot...

The location is the really outstanding thing in this park, and it is well-run too, though pricey. The park is not only right on the pretty mountain stream but it is a shortish walk to the town swimming hole and water play park/playground. It is also extremely close to supermarkets and the town in general, and the lovely 'canyon walk'....

Thank you for your review. We are happy that you liked your new villa and pleased that you are so happy with our location. I've taken your notes on our facilities into account and would like to explain why we don't have a pool. The draw to our park is that we are directly on the Ovens river. In summer...
