My booking through bookings.com was lost, so I was rebooked in at the desk, and apparently "upgraded" to a family room which I booked in the first place anyway. From the photos online the family room had one double and one single for (myself my partner and my mother) Unfortunately the room had bunk beds that were very loud, solid...

Going on the other clientele that shared the place, the Chalet looks like it is popular with groups for youth cycling training. What was good about the place? Lovely common area spaces to relax, inside and out. The dining area is geared for groups with several large tables, clean and light with a window view of the pool, which was...

I went here with my school about a month ago. 40 of us stayed there amongst the other members of the public. The food served was a buffet but it was actually very nice. People with allergies were well catered for as well. After each day of skiing, we put our jackets and boots in the drying room. It was...

I am very disappointed in my experience at Bright Chalet. I asked for my money back and I was basically told to get lost. This place misrepresents itself as a 4 star hotel. But it would be lucky to get one star from most experienced travelers. The staff and lazy and rude and the food is revolting.

The rooms are very basic and warm. The shower is a water saver, very temperamental to temperature adjustment, water use in the hotel and poor pressure. Variety served at complimentary breakfast was great. Helpful staff in selecting and fitting snow hire gear. We were only given 2 towels for a family of 4 and they were not changed for the...

I stayed here for 5 days with a group of 42 people. I had a room on the first floor at the rear of the property which had warm sunshine flooding in each morning. The room was fairly large but was basic and needed updating. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the chalet was warm inside. The bathroom was small...

The hotel looks very inviting and gardens are beautiful, but that's where it ends. The room is very basic, cracked mirror in the bathroom, you need to ask for everything - shampoo, tissues etc... -nothing was provided. Breakfast is very limited and poor, and the owner is rather rude - all he wanted to do is to watch football on...

Whilst it's true some rooms need updating our group of 40 had wonderful 5day stay incl bus trips and 5star meals. The breakfast and dinner buffets were plentiful and of good variety. Nothing was too much trouble for mine host Michael and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. We were even treated to a brass band concert which...

Room was very spacious, the big breakfast variety in the morning was great. Also the staff were very welcoming. If you're traveling with a motorcycle they also offer areas to store them overnight if needed. Perfect.
