We loved this place. S'mores at night, hot cider always, views are amazing, and the family who runs it are FANTASTIC! If you are looking for a family or couple getaway, this is your place. We will never stay anywhere else....and only 10 minutes to Hendersonville.

I was so pleased with the location of this lodge for an overnight stay. It was quiet and peaceful, and the owner went out of her way to make me feel right at home. So many little extras, such as a breezeway common room, and a comfortable "backyard" with such a wonderful view of the mountains. My room was so...

We arrived mid afternoon on a rainy day (which followed many other rainy days in the area). Although we were a bit early, our rooms were ready for us, and the host was very welcoming. Rooms are simple but very clean and quite well appointed, and interestingly decorated - one of the rooms we had was the "Christmas Room," complete...

My mom and I stayed here for three nights during our mother/daughter mountain get away. The room was very clean, large and comfortable. The view of the mountains is quite spectacular. We enjoyed the s'mores and fire pit very much. This lodge is close to the town of Saluda and has easy access to Hendersonville as well. The lovely owners...

We cannot give enough praise for this lodge. It is owned by a local christain family who goes above and beyond for their customers. The rooms are the clean and beautifully decorated. The owner came to our rescue with an ice pack and apple cider vinegar after I was stung on a hike to the waterfalls. Most friendliest people I...

Wife and I stayed in room # 123 for 2 nights. (9/4 & 9/5/15) to attend the Apple Festival in Hendersonville, N.C. I had booked a room with a king bed thru Hotels. com, a couple of weeks earlier, and then received an email from the owners that Hotels.com had over booked the king rooms. I called and spoke with...

The mountain views are just incredible. The owners Wayne and Wendy are delightful. The rooms clean and comfortable. And that's just the beginning. And yes, as some others have said, we were treated more as family than just another guest. The Saluda Mountain Lodge has an amazing location - just off I-26 outside Saluda but perched atop a hill with...

We booked a "king room with a mountain view" through Booking.com and were told (not so nicely) upon arrival that they were unable to locate our reservations. In around ten minutes, our reservations were magically located and we were instead offered a room with two double beds "that they always reserve in case this sort of thing happens." To add...

Here at the Saluda Mountain Lodge, we pride ourselves on our courteous, professional, and joyful customer service. Our Lodge is a labor of love for us. We've been blessed with a beautiful facility in a stunning mountaintop setting, and it's our pleasure to share our good fortune with our guests. My friend and I wanted a quick getaway to the mountains and we came across this inn. The owners were super nice and the room was super clean. Great location right off of the interstate. Smores out at the fire pit each night.
