The low score I have given the campground is due to the lack of anything being open and the numerous stinging bees. I will state pros at the end. First, the water spigots are located between sites using double spouts, which is fine except it makes it very far for every other camper so you need an extra long hose...

Stayed here for Rudys truck jam about 20 minutes away. Owners are very nice and helpful. The campground also serves as a bluegrass festival venue. They have bluegrass jams the 2nd Saturday of every month. After staying here for the first time in the fall of 2015 I don't make my reservations anywhere else.

We came with group and have had a great time at this beautiful place. I have loved looking at the horses. We didn't use the showers so I cannot say what they were like. The young lady who checked us in was quick and very helpful.

I stay here every time I pass through NC. The owners are great and the park is always clean and ready for guests. The blue grass festivals on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends are incredible!! I would highly recommend this park to anyone.

Nestled on 80 acre of beautiful slightly rolling hills, we've visited this nice, clean, well-kept park (located in the Cane Mountain / Bass Mountain area south of Burlington, NC) many times over the years. The owners, Lil John and Natalie Maness, live on the grounds and also host two wonderful Bluegrass Music festivals per year: on Memorial Day weekend &...

“In the immediate area (historic Snow Camp, NC) - there is a summer live outdoor drama ("The Sword of Peace"), a well-known "family-style" eatery (Ye Old Country Kitchen), and a colonial church & graveyard (Cane Creek Friends Meeting - established in 1751)... but I think the best thing going on are the two large Bluegrass Music festivals that Lil John & Natalie run (Lil John's Mountain Music Festivals). Check them out on the web - they, too, are very "family" oriented events.”
