As we know....kinda like MOST KOA’s.....“sardine camping” is better than nothing! Nice showers, laundry facilities & grounds are great!
With that in mind, this KOA IS GORGEOUS!

We stayed only for one night traveling arriving in the early afternoon. We had site #12 which had a great view of the lake. Would like to go again and stay longer as the area is baautuful and has allot to do in the area.
My family and I's first time camping ever and we spent it at KOA Asheville East. Everyone was super friendly. We rented on the lake side, views were so pretty. Pool was open the kids really enjoyed it and the playground. Would recommend for sure....More

The pool is a nice size and accommodates several families. Quite adequate for a campground. Most important is that it's always kept very clean. There is a nice playground for kids and a dog park across the roadway.
