This place was way below standards. Booking.com had decent reviews about it, but this place is worse than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at before. The toilet was nasty, and broken to where the toilet seat lid wouldn’t open all the way, I had to wrap something around it to keep it

Loved coming here. The satff was nice. My room was clean. i had a pleasant two days. The only real trouble I had was with the wifi. I think there were just too many people using or something. Not really the hotels fault.

Some of what you claim in factually incorrect. You claim there was a group rate but one was never set up. There is no record of it being set up. All of you paid what the one lady showed on her messages or less. One person was incorrectly put into the Water Color Group but you also admitted that you were not part of the Water Color group. We allowed him to pay the lower rate since that was what he was charged at check in. You then on your last day at the property came around threatening to leave bad reviews if we didn't give you all a lower rate, this after you had checked in and after you had signed your folios and credit cards. Of those in your group that checked in only 2 people gave immediate notice that something was wrong with their rooms. One was moved to another room and the other was given a small discount and housekeeping corrected the issues the next day. In essence you tried to blackmail us claiming you'd leave 15 bad reviews on every site if we didn't give you a cheaper rate. You waited until your last day on the property to raise many of your objections in an effort to blackmail the property. You did this before each of the clerks that were on duty that Saturday, you stated to each of them that if you didn't get your refund you were going to leave bad reviews. Look down to the last person who threatened that, got the refund they wanted and then still left a bad review. There is no real recourse for us people get what they want and then still leave bad reviews. If you'll read Tripadvisor's policy you'll also note that it is against their policy for us to give a discount in order to avoid bad reviews. As for your other claim it also factually false. Never at any time was Shawn/Mary Houck's reservation changed in the number of nights nor was it ever reduced in the number of nights to stay or cancelled. It was always for 1 night. The other Mary Houck (from FL) cancelled her reservation on October 2nd, 2 days before she was scheduled to arrive and that's what the system records. We are sorry that Shawn was not able to be accommodated for 2 additional nights but we were sold out. Why would a two story building have an elevator? Obviously you've never run a business and released the expense of operating one. I suppose if we had 1 elevator you'd then complain that there is no elevator on the other side like you have the ice machine. Some people you can't please. Never heard of painting brick either which is what the outside of the building is comprised.
