We love this B&B! We've stayed at the Hoge-Wood house on a number of occasions and keep coming back for more! Larry & Page are a wonderful host/hostess team. Breakfast is absolutely delicious- homemade jam, fresh coffee, and the best pecan waffles around. The rooms are spacious, nicely decorated and outfitted, and perfect for an escape. Robes and water bottles...

Easy check in, friendly hosts, quiet bedrooms, easy walk to river front and downtown, but the breakfast was outstanding . Larry and Paige made us feel at home. The Riverwalk is a delight with restaurants, bars and shops. The sunset turns the river ablaze.

We had 6 girls stay here for a bachelorette party weekend so we rented all 3 rooms at this gorgeous historic B&B. It is right downtown, within walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars (which is what we were looking for). The setup is perfect, as long as you don't mind sharing beds. The owners, Page and Larry, were...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend during a wedding in Wilmington in Katherine's room. The room and adjoining bathroom were even nicer than the photos. They were clean and great spaces. We loved the huge comfortable bed and the location couldn't be beat! His B&B is run by a kind and welcoming couple, and I would recommend...

Larry and Page are the perfect hosts -- friendly, relaxed, funny, attentive, and available, without being intrusive. Our room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Breakfast is huge and delicious. There is ample, free off-street parking. Exploring historic Wilmington, enjoying downtown restaurants and nightlife, and strolling along the riverfront can all be done on foot from this ideal location.

When we first arrived we met Larry, Paige and their puppy dog. We stayed in Leilani's Room. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Breakfast was amazing!!!!! Larry is a wonderful cook and he shared stories about the history of the house as well as his adventures through life. We hope to return someday...

Larry and Page Tootoo were wonderful hosts for my daughter and I. Larry was the chef and every day asked us what we wanted for breakfast. He was kind enough to consider our dietary restrictions (gluten free and no meat) and each morning, the breakfast was delicious and very filling. The special touches were so charming and we felt very...

Over the past thirty years or so we've stayed at probably 75+ B&Bs across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Based on Page and Larry's hospitality alone, Hoge-Wood House ranks well near the top. We've experienced innkeepers who have no clue what they're doing, those that get an acceptable job done with obvious effort and stress, and those, like Page and...

The owners, Larry & Page, as as warm as they come; very pleasant & accommodating. Breakfast both mornings was very welcome and tasty. And, if you're lucky you'll catch Page for an early morning coffee. And, make sure you ask her for area suggestions, whether they be places to dine, or for sightseeing. The Hoge-Wood House is kind of a...

My husband and I were only in town for one night, but this place was AMAZING - I wish we could have stayed longer! We stayed Leilani's Room. It was spacious and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. There was a mini frige with cold soda waiting for us. They provide water bottles you can take home after your stay and...
