We enjoyed our stay in the Topsail Suite. Very convenient walk to the riverfront and the downtown area. Enjoyed breakfast at Dixie Diner - food is good, and the waitresses go out of their way to help and are friendly. We had good dinners at Circa 1922 and at Caprice Bistro, both within walking distance. My favorite meal was at...

I travel a lot for business and have stayed in many of the better hotels in major metropolitan areas. Recently my wife and I went to a family wedding in Wilmington, NC. There were the usual hotel chains to stay at but I wanted something different, something more personal and roomy, a hotel that felt like a home instead of...

Stayed at Hotel Tarrymore and it was awesome. The owner and his crew are top notch. If you want to stay in the downtown this is the place. So much more than a hotel room. Full kitchen and living room area with comfortable furniture. Great front porch area with rocking chairs to just relax and hang out before or after...

This is a cool little boutique hotel in the heart of Downtown Wilmington. The accomodations are spacious and beautiful. There are several uniquely decorated one and two bedroom suites with everything you need available. There is also a very quaint bar which is staffed by the owner and serves beverages with fresh fruit and juices. He makes us feel like...

We stayed here for two nights and were highly impressed...The owner even called us and asked us what time we were coming in since we were coming from Maryland. He had someone there waiting for us since it is not your "typical" hotel (which is way better in my eyes). We were even greeted with a bottle of Champagne! If...

We recently stayed at the Hotel Tarrymore as a part of my son's wedding party. We found it to be a unique, one of a kind hotel. It was the perfect place to stay as well as to host events. The owner, Jeff Jones, went out of his way to help with our Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party. It was...

This hotel is very clean and nice, large rooms, right in downtown, no parking, but inexpensive public lot just a few steps away. Great customer service; I had booked a suite, when I called the owner to request bedding for the pullout, we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite! He gives guests his cell phone number. I would definitely...

My wife and I stayed at the Tarrymore as part of a wedding party - the bride and groom had booked the entire hotel for wedding guests. In short, it was wonderful. Each room is large, attractive and comfortable with soft beds, modern and spacious bathrooms, and useful kitchenettes. And while you enter your room from an external balcony, they...

Perfect location for a first time visit to Wilmington. Relaxed in rocking chairs on the veranda; our room great space to spread out our stuff and a comfortable, gigantic king sized bed. We slept so well. Jim the proprietor gave us some great suggestions for local dinners and breakfast...then he suggested a fabulous restaurant in Charleston...Hanks. What a fun, relaxing...

Excellent location downtown Wilmington, NC., The number one destination venue for weddings. We stayed at the hotel which has small kitchens with the rooms being much larger than most hotels. We were treated like royalty. Everyone on Jeff's staff was very pleasant and professional. We rented the ballroom downstairs for our wedding which included the bar, lounge area and ballroom....
