A wonderful Historic property. Enjoyed the period furniture in our room and in the lounge. Nicely decorated. Great service from the staff. Good breakfast selections, free parking, and a short walk to the historic Old Salem. Our first time to North Carolina. Would certainly stay there again.

Loved the historic room which was the largest hotel room in which I have ever stayed. Large bathroom and the Christmas decorations were exquisite. Had a wonderful free breakfast. It was an easy walk to Old Salem Square where we enjoyed Candle Light Tea. Then the next morning I enjoyed a run through the Old Salem area. I will definitely... More

My stay at The Brookstown Inn was fantastic. I stayed here after accidentally cancelling another reservation I had at a nearby hotel. This hotel, thankfully, had availability for my 1 night stay. I was fooled at the low "star rating" (remember, hotels get ratings based on amenities offered, not cleanliness or friendliness/staff, etc.) My standard room had tall ceilings, very... More

Although this was not my first time attending an event, it was the first time that we stayed overnight. My husband I kept talking about how it was one of the greatest experiences we had received well above what it cost. The most important thing about the stay is that the SERVICE was CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT!!!! Each point of human contact... More

I chose this hotel because of the positive reviews on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed! We arrived on Thanksgiving and the hotel, a charming restored cotton mill was decorated for the holidays. It was absolutely charming. Rarely do I have much desire to spend time in the lobby, but at Brookstown, you really want to. Every night they have... More

The inn is located just beside the visitor center for Winston-Salem, which has information not only on Old Salem but other attractions as well. In addition to a spacious room and wonderfully comfortable beds, the inn has a wine and cheese time early evening and cookies and milk for later evening. The breakfast is hot with good choices of food.... More

TV was a little difficult to operate, problem with remote. Bathroom could have used a nightlight. Stairs into the room could have used night lighting. Luggage carts for wings beyond front lobby would have been nice.

Had the pleasure of staying overnight, the room was spacious and had all amenities needed. The bed was comfortable. The front desk went out of their way to assist us in the morning with some early food requests before the breakfast was open by personally going into the kitchen for some snacks and fruit. There was a comfy sitting room... More

This hotel was a wonderful addition to a trip full of history. After a day at Reynolda Art Museum and Graylyn, the public rooms at Brookstown Inn were a perfect way to end a gorgeous day! It was also a wonderful way to prepare for the next day at Old Salem.

A smaller place to stay. Room was spacious and beds so very comfortable. Delicious breakfast in a dining room. We enjoyed the wine and appetizers in the bar once we checked in. We asked for a recommendation for dinner and they told us about Di Lisio's Italian Restaurant right across the street. Fantastic food and wine. Would highly recommend both... More
