I have stayed at the Buckboard Inn annually for many years. Although there was a down period when Dovie & Nancy were not managing the Inn, they are back and so is the Buckboard. Rooms are clean and quiet. My room had a fridge & microwave. Pets are welcome.

The water had a odor of algae. Air-cond. unit made some disturbing noises. Furniture was worn out. Bed was hard as a rock and the linens frayed and badly worn. The coffee wasn't terrible and the toast and juice for breakfast helped with a otherwise lackluster stay.

Needed a reasonable place to stay while working in the badlands nearby. Now that the petroleum boom, has quieted, it's easy to get rooms at a place like this. Reasonable cost. Desk staff is mature ladies, no drama. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Clientele is mainly working guys. Convenient both to interstate and to cafe and bar and grill in...

Nice local owned motel. Very clean and tidy. Reasonably priced. Not many TV channels but had a frig and microwave. Would recommend if u are needing a room at the end of the day. Beds were ok and would stop again.

More than adequate for an affordable overnite stay. Room was clean and had a fridge and micro. I-94 was an easy on/off. one mile walk/drive to a couple of restaurants in Beach. Nothing fancy but would stay again and would recommend to others.

Good price. Comfortable bed. Not too noisy. Room was clean. Shower is very small, not for tall people. Thought there was a Continental breakfast but it was just toast, juice and coffee, which is fine given the $60 per night price. Eat before you get to this desolate area. ;)

This motel is old all around. We stopped here after a 24 hour road trip for a cat nap. The price was cheap. Everything is clean but old, I never felt like I could sleep on the bed just old and out dated. This was Like a hotel my grandparents use to stay in....lol, but was very clean. I would...

I have stayed here several times and have always found it to be a nice clean bed, bathroom & room. Its comfortable & quiet and the people there have been helpful & pleasant. Never have I found any "bugs"...The lady that is sometime at the desk wears her years on her face as a badge of honor not that she's...

Stayed here again in Dec 2014 (I have written 1 or more reviews on this location). The place has the very basic's but is clean, quiet and the heat works. That is all I need. There has always been enough room for my rig, but if not there is the Flying J a block away and a rest area next...
