This hotel looks like it belongs in a more ghetto part of town. It was filthy and could really use some renovations; the carpet looks like it was showing off every type of fluid/food stain that it possibly could have acquired in the last 20 years. There was broken glass in the hallway when we arrived and the same glass...

This hotel is literally right on one of the main streets in town, a lot of traffic and very noisy. The whole hotel is completely run down, all of the wooden windows are rotten, the one in our room would not even close all of the way because the crank handle was rotted off. The carpet on the stairs was...

The place looked iffy when I arrived but the lobby is warm and inviting, clean with friendly staff. Paint on the outside window frames and doors and sweeping the parking lot would really make a difference. The rooms are very big. Mine (107) has tile floor, well decorated, nice furniture, outside and inside entrance. Would stay here again. About 40...

I don't know who wrote the reviews for this place but it's a scary motel..someone said it was like a Frank Lloyd Wright home??!!!..poor Frank is spinning in his grave!! This is a cinder block cell with dirty linens and a creaky bed with plastic sheets..all those reviewers who raved about the friendly staff ...the only one we met never...

The people are really nice, the room clean and well equipped and the very reasonable rate included a nice breakfast. I would recommend this to anybody. We were traveling on two bicycles, and were encouraged to keep them in the room, which had plenty of space. A really pleasant experience.

We asked for a non-smoking pet room, and that's what we got! Our dog received a warm welcome and even treats. Yes, it's true, the outside does not look terribly inviting, but inside is a whole different story! The room was clean and the decor lovely. The tile floor was a bit cold, and I would ask for more rugs...

This place looks kind of worn out from the outside but the rooms are very clean, spacious and nice. The front desk lady was amazing, very nice and friendly. The rates are quite good compared to other hotels in the town. The breakfast was amazing - wide selection (including fresh fruits, eggs, different juices, etc.), no plastic dishes!

Nothing warm and cosy about the rooms, cinder-block walls, cold tile floors, some stained washcloths and cigarette-burned bedspread. My daughter hated the room. Bare bones in rooms but with coffee maker and DVD player. We stayed on a Saturday night and someone was having a party near, so listened to loud music til midnight. Will not stay again for $110

My favorite thing about staying here was the friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere! They were so helpful answering questions about local restaurants, things to do, etc. And just enjoyable to chat with! They made us feel like "family". When my husband would leave too early to have breakfast, they provided him with a lunch instead! So amazing and thoughtful. I...

I travel all over for work. The Oasis in Dickinson has been my favorite experience. The owners manage the site during the spring/summer/fall, and winter in Modesto California. Every room has a DVD player, and they have a library of DVD's you can check out. The common area feels like a country home living room. You eat from glasses, plates,...
