Clean, affordable convenient to Sanford hospital and no frills. The hotel's staff is also very friendly and informative. Same day surgery is nearly in the parking lot. Also, I didn't see another place to stay in the vacinity

To make a couple of points known right away: 1) This is NOT a chain hotel so you cannot expect it to be one. 2) This hotel is directly across the street from a major hospital and largely caters to patients/family members from the hotel. This becomes obvious when you enter the room and see a emergency call cord on...

Needed a place to sleep for 3 nights and it was fine. I would recommend top floor as first night little feet were jumping around til 11 but next two nights were great. Clean, no frills sleeping room. TV and Internet all updated and worked fine. If you are on hospital side you can hear the helicopter but traffic wasn't...

For another $10 most anywhere else, we could have had a continental breakfast, fridge, microwave, coffee, shampoo, a work desk... you know, the general motel basics. I wouldn't have minded doing without most of this (the breakfast alone would be worth $10 for the 2 of us), if the place was a little nicer & cleaner. The fact that we...

Nothing at all in the way of frills, just a clean room. Best perq is that it's .5 miles from the cool part of Broadway, and 10 minutes from the airport. Bad TVs but that's not important to me. Bathrooms basic. Mattress could be newer. Affiliated with the hospital, but public allowed.

Basic, decent value, and definitely a remodeled retirement home. The bathrooms are a bit small and need a makeover. Also had a few problems with the TV during our stay. Checkin was smooth and the staff was very friendly. The location is ideal and in a quiet neighborhood.

My fiance and I stayed overnight because we were going to a show at the college. The hotel isn't the fanciest I've seen, but was very clean and very homy. The front desk attendants that we talked to (which was 3 of them) were all so very nice to us. The room was basic, but that was okay. I will...

We had to stay at this hotel after a family member was in the Fargo Sanford Hospital. As the title says, it's very basic. Small tv and old but clean furnishings. But it is within a few hundred feet of the hospital, which makes it perfect. No parking hassles, just walk across the street to visit. Everyone was very friendly...

We stayed at the Scandia for about 2 1/2 weeks. It is a modest hotel, with very basic amenities. The decor is a bit dated and somewhat worn, and there were some areas where the paint could be touched up. It is directly across the street from the Sanford Hospital and Roger Maris Cancer Center. Things we liked: The people...

For the money, it is difficult to find a better hotel. Spacious rooms, quiet and in a safe neighborhood (right across the street from the hospital).
