We are seasoned visitors to Sunny Beach since 2001. Stayed in various hotels but in 2009 we found a new home in the L&B and have gone every year since, covid excepted.
Zhivko, Christine, Niki are so accomodating with nothing too much trouble. The 3 lady cleaners are such a lovely team they also deserve warm praise.
We found the resort itself a bit more expensive this year and the little land train at 6 Leva per journey, per person very pricey. It was cheaper to get a taxi and Yani only charged 10 Leva for any journey within Sunny Beach, great service. Most others charged 15-to 25 Leva.
Lots of places closing up early, sorry to see Marina closed on Friday, but great food at Flora Restaurant and for a quick snack Ciabatta and Cheesecake at Condor Bar.
God willing, already looking forward to being back in June, then Aug/Sept 2023,

Was in L&B before the world changed with covid !
L&B Hotel is lovely but I would not recommend full board. Nothing wrong with the food but Sunny Beach is soooooo cheap to eat out, why go half board.
The hotel is in a very good location - 5-10m walk to the beach & all the seafront activities.
WHEN I come back to Sunny beach I would have no issues coming back to L&B.

I stayed here for 7 nights solo and it’s been a great trip. L&B hotel is a family run hotel in a quiet area but not far from the action! The staff are all excellent, very polite and helpful. Food is great and location is only a 5 minute walk to Flower Street and the main shops/bars/cafes. I had a room with double bed, a powerful shower with great hot water supply and the air conditioning was excellent. There was lots of charging points, a fridge and tv with worldwide channels available. I never tried the pool but it was very clean and the deck chairs are well set out. The hotel has lots of food/cigarettes,tobacco onsite for sale and a great selection of food and snacks available. There are many 24hr shops within yards of the hotel and it’s real quiet at night with a 24hr reception in case anything g untoward occurs.

I was made to feel extremely bad for being unhappy with my stay! I booked this hotel due to good reviews, i don’t understand the hype. I believe you could find a much better stay for a similar price. The pool is even smaller in person than in photos I believe and around the pool is extremely slippy I even watched one lady get injured after a bad fall due to this. On our first night our passports were not returned to us however when we asked for them back I will admit it was no issue. The second red flag at the time was the dodgy aircon (it was fixed but as a young girl staying here for the first time arriving late at night I was very concerned with all of the issues we faced day one). Third red flag was waking up in the morning to the door being wide open (we were told by staff this was our own fault, I can assure you it was closed correctly and locked) the room is extremely bright in the morning. Food is disgusting, everything is overpriced and you can’t bring in anything from outside the hotel. The shower is a joke water goes everywhere and the shower curtain sticks to you while you’re in it. I wanted to move hotels and was very upset at reception where I was mocked for being upset with the hotel and told it wasn’t their issue. I asked for receptionist name (main man in charge) and he wrote it on the back of someone’s passport copy giving me all of their information and photo which I taught was very inappropriate as I would not want a copy of my passport handed out to random strangers. Reception staff were extremely rude to us the rest of our stay even making the occasional dig simply because I nicely voiced I was wanting to move hotels at the start of the stay. (Ivan, waiter was extremely kind as well as a few other workers and maids) but considering I had the walk by the reception desk everyday I felt extremely uncomfortable. Room was clean and spacious. Balcony was a nice size.

Do not stay here if you are a family with kids. I have to say we’re very easily pleased and not much bothers us on holidays but this hotel staff was just weird in the way they treated guests. My sons ball was confiscated by one of the waiters because it accidentally went out of the pool twice?! I got it back but had to ask him a few times before he handed it over. Who the hell did he think he was?? But yet when the ball popped up and splashed a lady who was actually the pool by the way… she got the ball and threw it into the restaurant in anger nothing was said to her!!? There was a group of people there one day, one of the guests was smoking and flicking ash into the baby pool, again nothing said to him?! There were 12 of us there all together and they missed out on a lot of sales from us because we couldn’t bear to give them our money. The managers hang around like guard dogs making everyone feel very uncomfortable. The most disgusting thing I have to say also is that all the breakfast food is left out from the night before uncovered, absolutely no need for it. I honestly have to say it was the weirdest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I will be recommending to everyone asking me to stay well away. If you’re boring and don’t like fun maybe stay here. The only member of staff that was normal and treated us well and with respect was Nicky, they should be very grateful to have him as part of their team.

Dear guests! All families with children are welcome. However, hotel rules must be followed And the peace and rest of other tourists should not be disturbed. There are also other guests in this hotel who have come for relaxation and peace. You have written so many lies that we will not pay attention.

I visited the hotel with my husband and parents. We enjoyed a drink and snack in their restaurant. The staff were pleasant and efficient but please do not buy cigarettes from their tobacco shop. They charged me 150 leva for a sleeve and admittedly at the time, I was happy to pay this, on opening the carton, the individual packs are price marked 6.90 leva. The Bulgarian Government set the price for cigarettes so they cannot legally charge any more than 69 leva for a carton! I tried to contact the hotel to be reasonable about it and ask for a refund but I was given a flat no and they had the cheek to say we hope to see you again soon! I won't be returning to this hotel again.

Just back from a 9 night stay. First time in Bulgaria. Hotel is in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from Flower St. Travelled with a large group. Hotel is kept very clean. Staff were friendly, especially 2 waiters and lovely cleaning lady. Food was good but didn't like the breakfast on the hotplate. Food and drinks were reasonably priced. Good air conditioning in the rooms and lots of channels on tv. Rooms were cleaned on a regular basis. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a Sunny Beach holiday. Haven't a bad word to say about this place. Cartons of cigarettes were cheap as chips-110 euro for 4 cartons.

I spent a week here, solo, at the end of August (B&B) Lovely clean small hotel. Zhivko and his family and staff are so friendly and helpful. I ate here all the time and found the meals excellent and a wide choice of dishes. There are loads of nearby restaurants and bars to try. I also had the set B&B breakfast each day rather than having a full english ( which looked superb) A good variety of continental and cooked. Give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I had a large bedroom - double bed plus 2 singles, shower etc etc. Cleaned each day by lovely housekeeping staff and bed linen etc changed midweek. The pool is small but perfectly adequate and is cleaned each day. The hotel is situated a short walk from the strip and beach and is nice and quiet at night. Food and drink in the hotel are very reasonably priced. I intend to spend another holiday at this hotel next year.

Have just spent 3 weeks in this hotel which is Family run,the staff are friendly and eager to please.
The rooms are very spacious and are well maintained by the maids.
The hotel is in a quieter area but is only a 5 minute walk away from Flower Street.
The only issue we found was that the breakfast never changed, but having been in Sunny Beach on a number of occasions this is the norm whilst staying in a 3 star hotel. We will definitely return
