Hotel Garden Nevis provides a vibrant atmosphere with entertainment options that keep the ambiance lively, although mornings can be disrupted by loud music for some guests. The staff often receives compliments for their friendliness, but there are occasional lapses in responsiveness. Guests generally enjoy the hotel's location near the beach and markets, and the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms are well-regarded. Opinions on value are divided, with praise for cost-effectiveness tempered by concerns over extra fees and the quality of amenities.

Stayed for 2 weeks at The Garden Nevis in September . Dropped off just around the corner from the hotel entrance.
Checkin quick, pool view room. Hairdryer missing but got one the next morning from reception.
Friendly bar & restaurant staff , shout out to Yulia who always had a smile on her face whilst making my omelette in the mornings .
Lots of people complaining about the food & drinks , it says on the Tui website that the drinks are local drinks . Hence no full fat coke or Smirnoff vodka!! The food was ok not 5* but as this isn’t a 5* hotel so you wouldn’t expect that. Children were left to get food themselves when it clearly states no children under 12 to be left to get food alone.
People from the UK complaining that there was no entertainment on for the children that were running around . Well being the middle of September your children should been attending school not going on holiday.
People complaining about the housekeeping of the rooms , our room was cleaned daily , towels changed daily & bedding changed at least every 3 days. I’m sure people don’t change their own bed or towels that often at home.
People complaining about the staff , I had no issues with any one if you are polite to someone then you will get that in return.
Plenty sun beds around the pool ,even though people thought it was ok to reserve 4 front of pool beds most of the day then come and take the towels off mid afternoon without even sitting on them.
Overall a cheap and cheerful place brought down by some peoples constant & loud complaining to each other and others who want to go to sunny beach to get hammered all day every day.

Stayed here mid August for my 3rd visit to this hotel.

Firstly the bad reviews I read before going on holiday were worrying me a little but after staying again I think it's the people that expect absolute 5 star hotels for 3 star prices that add these poor reviews.

Now having stayed here when the hotel has had all facilities in use at all times it did seem the hotel was operating with a lot less staff than usual with the noticeable differences being lack of evening entertainment (which doesn't bother me as went out most nights), the pool bar not being open in the evening as it normally would be until 10pm and the bar in the dining room not being open at all. The animation staff did seem very inexperienced too and were not that professional as they have been in the past here when wereTUI animation.

Other than this my only other real complaint would be the cleaners this year. Sheets were not changed once across the week, for around 3 days bins were not emptied so rubbish building up. Some days we had no towels changed so in the end often asked cleaners in corridors to actually swap towels in the corridor incase they did not actually change them or come in the room. Couple of days they would knock on and just give you a toilet roll. Seemed very hard work with the cleaners this year unless which I suspect is down to staffing issues and lack of staff. The standard is usually much higher.

Nevertheless I probably would stay at the hotel again next year, they are little issues to me, I'm pretty laid back on the whole and generally you are not in the room other than sleeping and changing. As long as I've a clean towel and the sun's shining I'm happy enough. I enjoyed the stay still, the staff at the snack bar and bars were great and the food in the whole was OK enough choice to keep you well fed. Nicki on the bar is a good lad and very friendly. I was given a good, pool view room at the hotel which again made the stay enjoyable.

There's so much just a couple of minutes walk away. Sunny Beach can be as laid back or as crazy as you want it to be depending on your preferences if with young families or there for a party holiday it's all there for you. Prices in the area a little more expensive than in previous visits but still reasonable and fairly cheap. Weather was mostly good, I'll be back to Bulgaria again I'm sure. The hotel for the price you pay is good value and I've stayed at a worse 4 star hotel in Sunny Beach than the Garden Nevis at 3 stars. The only good thing at the 4 star I stayed at was being on the 9th floor overlooking sunny beach but the food and drinks at that hotel (Grand hotel) were very poor and I would not stay there again. Don't believe the bad reviews on the Garden Nevis the hotel in the whole is OK with decent food most of the time

Just returned on Tuesday. For what we paid it was great. Perfect location 5 mins from strip/beach so you don’t hear all the noise as it’s busy 1 end to the other is 5 miles long. We went out every night for 10 nights as entertainment was mon wed and fri for 30 mins at 9pm which was what let the hotel down. If they’d have left background music on it would’ve been something. The kids disco was every night at 8pm but barely 10 kids there but hotel was full of them but they don’t really advertise it well. The animation need to go around lobby and restaurant shouting mini disco collecting kids and I’m sure they would’ve had loads more. We had no complaints with food and the cocktails were great. Nicki the Barman would always make them however strong you wanted. Only 1 barman worked on each bar so there were queues at times but manager said she’s been struggling to get staff since reopening after COVID. If they sort entertainment out we will definitely return

Just returned from a weeks stay here with my daughter and what a fabulous week it was. The hotel is in a fabulous central location, 5 minutes from the beach and lively resort with hundreds of shops/bars and restaurants, a couple of fairs and lots of water sports, easy bus route to nessebar and 10 minute walk to action water park. The hotel is bright and airy, the rooms are large, we had a twin room which had two beds in one room and a sofa bed in another room, large walk in shower which was very powerful, dressing table, fridge, 3 mirrors, aircon and 2 tvs. The beds were comfy and plenty of wardrobe space. We were on the first floor with a lovely view of the pool from our very large balcony. The food was fresh, tasty with loads of variety. The soft drinks and cocktails were lovely. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The only cons are that although the room was spotless when we arrived, the bath room was never cleaned (only the bins emptied) and the floors were not swept as the sand we walked in on the first day stayed there all week. Also the incessantly loud music played round the pool all day made it difficult to relax

Stayed here for a week with friends, we arrived in the middle of the night.. Hotel not very welcoming during the night.. Chairs in reception are filthy.. the room we stayed In was booked for 4 single female 1 bed sofa 1 double bed.. not suitable if you want your own bed.. Balcony very small but pool facing.. complained about the room on the first day.. nothing was done complained on second day to Hotel manager.. she was extremely rude , aggressive and had a dismissive manner.. this behaviour was witnessed by other guests to their astonishment.. i continued with my complaint and expressed my concern about her manner to guests.. she eventually moved us into a much larger room with a very large balcony … she then became very pleasant and friendly after I kept my cook and did not rise to her poor behaviour..food was awful everyday cold and repetitive ( but it was all inclusive) so bit expected… Al staff in the hotel were rude miserable and ignorant.. 1 bar man Nicky was very pleasant friendly and accommodating.. the other was 1 of the house keeping an older fair haired lady she was also friendly pleasant and welcoming.. All other staff did not speak to anyone or smile.. the 2 pleasant staff were a saving grace… life guard was also miserable and did not move from his spot for 9 hours a day did not interact with anybody.. TUI rep was not very good or informative.. I would not stay in this Hotel or recommend it but would return to sunny beach.. we were not the only guests there with these opinions … little or no entertainment at night the entertainment was only on 2 nights out of 7 and was only on for 40 minutes .. pool area was ok.. walk way leading to and from the hotel was poorly lit dirty and uneven surface.. on. Plus side it was only a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach front… hotel reception needs cleaning and staff would benefit from customer service training …

This hotel was very well marketed, since most of the things they’re advertising is non existent! Thank goodness we didn’t have any small children with us, as they would be very bored since there was no entertainment besides 2 grumpy teens dancing twice a day who looked about 15 and very overworked. One group even quit mid way through the holiday due to the poor working hours. Firstly, they advertised a laundrette which they don’t even have on site, there is one quite far away in which you have to pay for, so this is false advertisement. The food was basic but not awful, I basically lived off watered down pasta sauce. DO NOT EAT THE CHICKEN! Every single chicken item we wanted to consume was either raw or grey, very disturbing. As soon as I arrived (granted it was very early morning) the receptionist was appalling. My partner was trying to check us in which the lady found very confusing (we were quite a big group with several rooms) she turned around to my partner and said “are you sharing a room with THIS GIRL” in a really aggressive and judgy tone, this made me feel embarrassed, uncomfortable and immediately set my holiday off on a negative tone. The pool is foggy and is not cleaned very frequently. Our room was overall okay however we were one of the only rooms without a fly door, and our toilet roll holder kept falling off. We still have a week to go so I’m hoping for some redemption but so far I am appalled by the customer service and false advertisement of this hotel. The staff look as depressed as I am to be here right now.

Garden Nevis are placed very central to the main street, and not fare away from the beach.
Hotel rooms are in a good size, but be aware of some of the family room have step down to the living room and again up to the bedroom. NOT very good, as they can be difficult see in the night. I had an accident, in night time, where I forgot the steps and then fall down at the floor. Hotel have a nice and clean pool, a very good pool bar, there also are serving a light meal, as burger, toast, pizza and some other small meals. Very nice and good food. All meals are served in the restaurant as a buffet. There are a good range of foods to all 3 meals. Drinks are served at the pool bar, and the bar inside the main building. The bar staff are very friendly and good for a story or two. Service in the restaurant is good, and food are fresh and there is food for everyone. Only one thing is missing if you want to sit outside, all table are for 4 persons, and clean cutlery is in short supply, so you need to go inside for getting it.
There were some things we did not find satisfactory for a 3star hotel, such as cleaning that only took place once per week, and that there were only 3 small bags of hair shampoo for 3 people for a week's stay. There were also no facilities for showering or changing when leaving the hotel late at night. It was not possible to extend the stay by 6 hours. We arrived at the hotel around midnight and were handed a doggyback with a packet of biscuits, a crusaint and an apple. NO water and there was not even a bottle of water in the room. It's too bad, we were directed to a water dispenser by the bar, so we could run up and down with small mugs of water.

Had a great 10 days at Garden Nevis, we went with low expectations, we usually stay at five star hotels, and were very happy with our stay. The hotel itself is very clean, bright and comfortable. Beds and towels were changed every four days or more often if you ask the cleaner. We didn’t find this a problem although some do.
We’re not used to taking shampoo/shower products etc as they’re normally supplied, but you only get soap and toilet paper here.
Reception staff were very quick to sort out issues with our safe and shower.
The food at times was repetitive, but we always had enough to eat. The lovely Yulia cooked my eggs exactly how I wanted them at breakfast and always had a smile and a warm welcome.
The drinks were local brands so weren’t as strong as we are used to, but you could pay for international brands if you’re that fussy. There are two bars, the lobby bar serves alcohol from 9am until 11pm and the pool bar opens from 11am until about 10 ish.
The pool was clean, the area around was regularly tidied up by cleaners and maintenance staff. My only problem was that the pool towels weren’t supplied so we had to go out and buy some, we’ll know for next time 😂 There were plenty of sun beds, but you had to hire the cushions to put on them, it’s cheaper and more comfortable to buy a Lilo 👍🏻
Animation team tried hard to involve everyone in their daily activities, I felt sorry for them at times because most people just wanted to relax. The evening entertainment was really poor, it’s hard when there’s only one person to organise everything 🙈 Most people went out as you’re only a five minute walk from the main strip where all the fun happens.
The most outstanding personality at Garden Nevis - who is loved by everyone who meets her - is Daria 🥰 She is an asset to the company, always smiling and happy, and always asks you how strong or weak you want your drink making. She had time for everyone and made sure you felt welcome 🤗 I am sure you have a fantastic future ahead of you Daria xx
We had a great stay here and, if we return to Sunny Beach in the future, we will definitely consider staying here again.

Arrived early hours of the Morning checked in, only one Receptionist & a porter. Given a bag of food which consisted of an Apple, savoury sticks and a chocolate Croissant then shown to our room.
The room was large and spacious which over looked the pool area but not very clean.
Food was not good, meat was raw, jacket potatoes hard and food was lukewarm or cold.
One of our party had a Allergy (Celica) to food &drink so was limited to what they could eat.
When asked manager for help on food for Celica we were told that the hotel did not provide any food for celiac suffers, but pointed out the Allergy form to look at.
Not enough cuterley at meal times.Tongs provide were used for more than one food item.
Loungers around the pool, never cleaned after each day's use, mattress for loungers were 15 Lev a week, only ever seen one cleaner around pool.
No hair dryer in room only provided for family rooms.
Manager for cleaning staff told us that parents not allowed in child's pool with infants, no adults allowed in child's pool, not allowed to sit on wicker furniture around pool as it was for her staff.
Life guard no where to be seen that day then you would see him play water polo with guests or disappear for hours.
Pool one size, incident twice in pool where two people got their foot stuck in broken tile, they tried to fix it but were unable to so they taped off that part of pool and told no one to use it.
Loud music at 8am in morning played continuously, maid never cleaned room only bathroom, sheets and towels changed every Four Days. Sickness bug going around hotel since June even staff of hotel were effected.
No entertainment as such, Karaoke, water polo for Adults, half an hour's children's dance. Magic show or water aerobics.unable to use all-inclusive Drinks package as not able to drink beer due to been Celica, ask help from tui rep was not interested advised us to speak to tui when you are home.
Tui visited this hotel wks ago with issues and they still not been resolved.

Dear Guests, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. We truly value your input as it aids us in enhancing our services. We would like to address some of the concerns you've raised to ensure a better understanding of the situation. Firstly, we appreciate your feedback about the food. We understand that taste preferences can vary, especially considering the diverse range of nationalities in our hotel. Our restaurant operates with a buffet system, which means that maintaining extremely hot temperatures for all items can be challenging. To address this, we offer a combination of cold and hot options, including a show cooking station where dishes are prepared right in front of you and served piping hot from the grill. For added convenience, we have provided microwaves for reheating food as well. Regarding the issue with tongs, we apologize if their placement caused any confusion. We make efforts to organize them appropriately, but sometimes guests inadvertently misplace them. We appreciate your understanding in this matter. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding access to the children's pool. Adults supervising their children are indeed allowed in the children's pool area. Our intention is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, especially families with young children. In terms of poolside seating, we offer ample chairs for all guests. We also provide a designated area away from the pool for our staff to take their mandated breaks with 2 chairs and a table, why did you decide that these are the only chairs you can use and leave the staff who serving you for hours standing? It's important for our hardworking team to have a place to rest, and this area is reserved for their well-being during their breaks. Regarding the lifeguard and pool safety, we adhere to strict protocols to ensure the safety of all guests. Lifeguards have specific working hours and mandatory breaks to ensure their attentiveness, there is another lifeguard who replaces him during these breaks. We understand your concern and assure you that these procedures are in place to maintain the highest level of pool safety. We appreciate your understanding of the situation involving the technical emergency. Our team responded promptly, and the issue was resolved within a few hours to ensure the pool's proper functioning and the safety of our guests. Lastly, we want to clarify that there have been no reported cases of viruses in the hotel since June, including among both guests and staff members. We take health and safety very seriously, and we have stringent protocols in place to maintain a healthy environment for everyone. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts. We hope this response provides a more accurate picture of the situations you've mentioned. We remain committed to providing an enjoyable and comfortable stay for all our guests. Best regards, Hotel Management
