This hotel is situated at the top of the town very close to the ski lifts. The rooms are comfortable if not luxurious and the food is excellent. There is a good spa and spacious boot room. The staff are friendly and very efficient.

Rooms are good. Kept very tidy by the staff and plenty of hot water for that all important bath after a day on the slopes. The hotel is right on the slopes, so ski in, ski out is real and not a figment of the advertising mans imagination. Good ski lockers situated in the basement. We did half board and...

Le Calgary is a very pleasant hotel situated in Les Saisies, France approx. 1 hour by coach from Chamonix. I went with a group of walkers and my room (No. 35) was excellent and very well appointed. The food and service are both very good, but beware the room mini bar - the tariff is not listed and I paid...

This hotel is simply excellent. The staff welcomes you perfectly, the bedrroms are nice, clean, cosy and decorated with taste. You eat so well at the restaurant and the swimming pool is so delightful after a day of skiing or walking. Enjoy the place....

This hotel was perfect for all types of skier and age range. Good food, with excellent cheeses and small but adequate swimming pool and sauna. However, don't go with CLASSIC SKI based in the uk v bad. I was abandoned at Geneva airport for seven hours, alone with all my baggage for my return. I had to ski alone with...

I have just returned from a very pleasant week in Le Calgary. The food was very good and all the hotel staff were very friendly. The room was very comfortable - a slight problem with hot water in the evening if everybody wanted a shower at the same time. Swimming pool is very small but wave machine gave you something...

This is our 6th skiing holiday in this region and the last 3 have been at this hotel. We have stayed in many hotels throughout the world, particularly GB and USA and this is far better than many 4 star graded hotels, I'm not sure how the French grading is established, but don't be put off by it's current 3...

Just returned from our first time skiing. You are never too old to take up any sport, this hotel was perfectly situated, and the very happy staff made us most welcome. Le Calgary in Les Saisies was ideal. The manager Mr Berthod greeting each of us personally to welcome us to his hotel. One of us was a non skier...

We spent a week at Hotel Calgary as part of a group Skiing trip. Didn't really expect it to be as nice as Whistler, but it was a Whistler on a smaller scale and very enjoyable. No tipping hints during the entire stay, which was very good. Excellent service during meals, room service also very good.

They charge ridiculous prices for a room per night just because they can. Not worth the money when you compare to first class leading hotels who cater for their guests out with the 'normal hours' I will spend my hard earned cash in Canada next time where I am sure amenities, location and service are next to nothing compared with...

“Chose a room with a bath. I had a balcony and television and internet was easy to access. I had a small room but the boot room for skiers was good with individual lockers and straight out to the slopes. Stairs or a lift. Staff very helpful. Except for classic ski who were useless.”
