Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here overnight with our two kids, aged 6 and 9 in a fairly large room with two queen beds. We were happy with the cleanliness of the place and the owners have done a good job of upkeep on this older hotel. The location and outdoor pool were great, service was good (the staff were very helpful with our very late check in), and we thought it was good value for what we paid. We'd stay here again.

In motel city this place stuck out. I usually avoid motels and stick with a couple of chains. But I was too tired to go on to Kamloops and am quite glad we stopped here. I much rather see my $$ go to an operation like this than a chain hotel and it helps to keep the community thriving. After seeing all the beautiful flower baskets at the motel you know it has to be well kept...turns out it is. Karen was super nice and thoughful. She gave us a room with a new queen mattress and was very welcoming to our dogs. The rooms are spacious and clean - that being said, the bathroom needed some renovation attention but I figure that is to be expected and not detrimental.

At the back they have a fenced area where the dogs can run free. That was a first on our travels and the dogs appreciated it. There is also a pool that we, unfortunately, weren't able to enjoy as we got in late.

Air conditioning works very well, the bed was comfortable, the room spacious - which included a coffee maker, fridge, microwave and kettle. We had a room at the front and really didn't notice any traffic noise, or any other noise for that matter. Everything very adequate, well worth the stop.

Great value for the money ($80 including taxes). We will make sure to return.

Our bicycling adventure across British Columbia included a stay at the Sage Hills Motel in Cache Creek. When you drive into town looking for a place to say, you would select this hotel. It is well-maintained with lots of hanging flower baskets and pots to add to the ambiance. The proprietress is very attentive, rooms are clean and comfortable with many choices for accommodations including two room suites and kitchenettes. Definitely your best choice in Cache Creek.

You can park right outside your door and the rooms are cozy and very clean. There are several restaurants nearby within walking distance. The outdoor pool is great, nice and big and heated and has a great view of the sage hills and river behind the motel.

This motel is very clean and well maintained. The bed in the bedroom was good apparently but the one in the main room was very uncomfortable. Despite the uncomfortable, this motel is a good value.

Check in was the best part- quick and early by 1 hour ok. Room very dark- no ceiling light, only two dim bedside lights and one corner lamp. Freezer froze our fridge products as had no inside door. No spoons or stir sticks for supplied coffee. Found empty used food container (with food) on visible shelf- also empty beer can under bed. Bathroom small. Pool had not been used in years- even a gopher was disappointed. Booking said offered breakfast (one of main reasons we booked) and none offered and did not see any suitable area anyway. Would not recommend or stay again

Spent one night here with friends. Was looking forward to the pool after a day on our street bikes. Arrived to find the pool closed for maintenance. This wasnt inducated on line. Looked like it hadn't been used in a long time. Front desk and room had over powering air freshner scent. Photos online are not accurate! Very misleading. The included breakfast was a room attached to the laundry with a "help yourself" fridge with expired milk, part loaves of bread & some waffle mix. Fruit bowl had a couple over ripe bananas. Wouldn't recommend this motel at all.

Great little hotel. Didn't look like too much from the outside, but the room was great, clean, creatively decorated, and well priced. Very quiet room even though it is right on the highway. Highly recommend.

On our way from Prince George to Victoria and needed a place to stop at. Booked online. When we arrived at 9 PM we were dealt with promptly. Our room was around the back, which is quiet. I was very impressed with this motel. It's an older place yet our room didn't have that old motel smell in it. The decorating leaves something to be desired. I had good laugh that I slept under the big top.

We have always parked at the back and never had any problems especially if you can park right by you motel door. There is no monitoring in the parking lot. Hope this helps
