Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were on a motorcycle trip with another couple. Shortly after we arrived, the hot weather broke into a summer thunderstorm. We didn't want to go out on the bikes in the rain for dinner. The owner recommended Annie's which delivered an amazing pizza and salads right to our room. We sat under the covered balcony, watching the rain and enjoying our dinner with some wine we had picked up in the Okanagan. The owners wife came by shortly after with some freshly cut peaches which she thought we might enjoy for desert. We appreciated the hospitality.

Spent the nite here on our way to Mackenzie. The room was small. The bathroom wasn't the best either, the bed was too small for 2 even though it was a double.Good thing I never had anything to put in freezer cause you couldn't close the door with the build up of ice.Won't be back

Stayed here a few times when passing through Cache Creek. Its a nice little motel. Very clean and quite, which is great especially being so close to the highway. Would definitely stay here again. Reasonable priced.

Great place to stop for the nite . Staff very friendly, even had an escort to room where they opened the door for us. Not much to it, but very clean and comfortable and affordable! Cute and whimsical, will use again when passing thru. Didnt use any other spots in town, but easy to find!

They had advertised rate $60, but charged me $90, and would not budge. My check in time was 11pm and leaving at 7 am, and they didn't want me to use the shower. Room seemed clean but there was an odour. The young owner was very angry when I insisted on having the rate advertised on their sign. He told me I could leave if I wanted, but I needed to sleep and had to pay.

First, the front desk attendant was waaaay beyond awesome...upbeat, friendly, hilariously funny, quirky, informed, smart, thoughtful...totally showed me *all* their different rooms & how to use the various room features, & *then* gave me the rundown on all the great places to eat in Cashe Creek. Then, the room itself is *perfect*!! In the best rendition of *tiny house* style, the room I chose has microwave, flat screen TV, 'fridge, full bath w/tub, *gorgeous* queen bed, microwave, closet, drawers--all in a warm & cozy space. PLUS my little kitty is welcome...and she loves the room as well. Seriously folks, if you find yourself in Cashe Creek, British Columbia, Canada...stay at the Sage Hills Motel...you could not possibly do any better.

We travel through Cache Creek several times a year and often need to stay there to break our drive. We've stayed at several of the motels-hotels and sure aren't impressed with any of them. This one, at least, gave us a reasonable sleep and seemed clean. Its along the highway so there is some highway noise. Its reasonably priced but in my opinion most of the motels are priced seriously higher than they deserve to be...most are just a rung above what I'd call a flop joint...Sorry, but that's how I feel. The owners put no money back into them--and the cleaning is often questionable at best. So, there's no frills here--we had decent sleep, albeit a bit of road noise. Bedding quality and beds were average--they could use better pillows. Noticed a bit of moldy caulking in the

Couldn't drink the tap water. Bottle water they provided was left out in the heat. A/C didn't work properly and no communications from staff when the power went out. Some kind of hose left in the pool that took up a good portion of the deep end. No hot water in the shower and very little water pressure. Owners/operators appears very inexperienced.

Pillows are hard as a rock. It is clean but some spots like the bathroom window need work. Floors creak really bad, not much water pressure in the shower. All in all next time i will just keep driving.Coffee is not good, but the thing that bugs me most is the person at the front counter could hardly speek english which reallys annoys me

I’m quite surprised at the high ratings for this property. Cache Creek is a shabby little town with drab little motels and this one is no exception. The property appears to have been built in the 1950’s and doesn’t appear to have ever been remodeled or significantly updated. Our room was a queen on the front side of the motel facing the parking lot (though we had reserved a king). The room was pretty spacious, but quite oddly laid out. Some examples of less than desired attributes include a main room light whose switch is 7 feet up on the wall, no outlets in the bathroom and only one available in the main room (at the front door—not close to anything), a telephone that didn’t work, indoor/outdoor carpet that wasn’t seamed but instead had a metal threshold covering over the
