I had the fortune to stay the B and B this past week while touring the Nass Valley. The owners Ron and Jackie were so friendly and made me feel like family. The bedrooms are very nicely done and the food service was very good as well! I absolutely loved my time and think I have made new friends for...

A perfect spot to stay when on business or pleasure. Ron and Jackie are great hosts. Exceptionally clean and comfortable rooms and Chief Ron is a very good cook. Both Ron and Jackie are great story tellers and you will learn a great deal about the Nisga'a's history and culture.

What a gem the Nisga' Salmon Lodge is. This incredible B&B is run by Ron and Jackie Nyce. Ron is a Hereditary Chief - he is also the chief cook at home and can whip up some amazing meals. Tonight we ate a feast of traditional foods - tastes that you will not get anywhere else! Smoked oolichans, smoked salmon,...

The Nisga’a Salmon Lodge (Bed and Breakfast) is quiet, clean, comfortable and inviting; your host and hostess are Ron and Jackie Nyce. While exploring the beautiful Nass Valley, this is a charming place to stay and call “home away from home”. Ron (an area local) is not only a master at whipping up a delightful culinary experience; he is also...

A clean and comfortable bed and breakfast hosted by a terrific husband and wife team, Ron and Jackie Nyce in tiny Gitwinksihlkw in northern British Columbia. The Nyce's open their home and make you feel as though you are part of their family. Eggs, toast, fresh fruit, juice, coffee/tea is served every morning for breakfast. While dinner is not normally...

“The rooms are fabulous”

“Each room is decorated with a different theme. If you require a private bath or larger room be sure to book in advance. The home is two level - stairs both up and down.”

“Gitwinksihlkw (Canyon City) is a small village in the Nass Valley and is part of the Nisga'a Nation. It is surrounded by a lava rock bed memorial park that goes on for miles and miles. With exception of a tiny store providing snacks, drinks and a few crafted items by some of the village people, the nearest place for groceries or restaurants is Terrace, about an hour away, so preparation for your stay is important.”
