My husband and I had a lovely time here. We stayed in the Nikko Cottage which had everything we needed. Owner is so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great trip. Private hot tub was the best!!

We recently spent a few days at Takahashi Gardens and this is a 5+ star vacation spot. Elaine is by far the friendliest host we’ve encountered in our travels and every single item within the unit and property is incredibly well thought out. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, the rooms are impeccably clean and well appointed with everything from extra blankets to a selection of coffees. The view is one of the best in Sechelt and the location is top notch. The private covered decks let you sit and enjoy the serenity in both sun & rain and relaxing in the private hot tub (one for each unit) was heavenly. I cannot say enough good things about Elaine and Takahashi Gardens. We are already planning our next stay.

We feel so fortunate to have discovered such a peaceful, refreshing, enjoyable Takahashi Gardens. Everything was better than expected. We had the Umi suite and it did not disappoint. the views from out patio & room were as beautiful as any we've seen at other places we have stayed around the world. Our hostess Elaine was so accommodating. She insisted we pick her delicious candy like tiny tomatoes. She gave us the sweetest peach from her tree and a lovely cucumber. My husband was able to paddle board right off the dock. The water was very calm. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

My wife and I had originally booked the Nikko cottage behind the house with a limited view of the water but since the Yuma suite with a direct view of the water was available Elaine kindly moved us to the Yuma suite as per our preference. The king side bed was very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Elaine is extremely pleasant and a very accommodating host while respecting her guests privacy. She supplied us with a very detailed map of the Sunshine coast. We were very pleased with the Lighthouse pub and the more upscale but casual restaurant Entre deux Mers that she recommended. My wife and I highly recommend this place. Thank you Elaine.

We spent three nights in the Nikko cottage in December. Great privacy and a very cozy room. The place was so close to everything and Elaine was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely return!
