Fantastic place and great hosts. A modern clean environment and the breakfasts are to die for. The hosts are very hospitable and very friendly. We have stayed twice now and will never think of staying anywhere else when visiting Vancouver Island and will stay again on our next visit. If you are lucky you can see nature wander in from...

Vicky and Richard operate a fantastic B&B minutes from Shawnigan Lake school and village. The house was purpose built and the rooms are nicely separate from the residents. Each room is tastefully decorated and has an ensuite, and there is a lounge area specifically for the guests outside the rooms. No detail has been missed, from night lights to wifi...

Wonderful stay at a B and B with generous and caring hosts. We had time to enjoy a nice breakfast and good conversation with the owners about their prospective of this small Canadian town. Good parking arrangements and easy access to rooms.

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid September. A friend was getting married at Merridale Cidery, and we wanted to be able to enjoy a couple of drinks without worrying about a drive back to Victoria. We decided to stay 2 nights so we could really relax and enjoy the weekend. The B&B is located in a nice area...

Having decided to stay outside Victoria we found Shawnigan Lake which seemed handy for visiting the smaller islands and other places we'd never stopped. We booked 2 rooms for 3 days. Vicky and Richard provided us with the best welcome possible and we immediately felt at home. Daily we had wonderful breakfasts. Bed and rooms very comfortable. They were happy...

We visited Shawnigan for 3 days and found this B&B on trip advisor. All the wonderful reviews were correct. This place is a gem - private room and bath that are spotlessly clean, incredible breakfasts that were varied daily and tailored to your requests, and a peaceful, quiet, comfortable room (my husband said he hasn't slept that well in years)....

We had a lovely stay at Woodview B&B. Vicky and Richard do everything to meet your needs and give you good advice about the area. The b&b is very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast menu had interesting options every day, adapted to our dietary restrictions. In other words: it's a good b&b to stay when you want to visit...

WoodView Bed & Breakfast is a treasure set amongst the tall trees on the north end of Shawnigan Lake in the Cowichan Valley. Vicky and Richard have certainly gone the extra mile to make you feel like you are at home, as cliche as it sounds.. it is true. Reflecting back on our most enjoyable and comfortable stay at WoodView,...

This was our first B&B stay and what a wonderful experience. First off, Vicky and Richard were so welcoming and unbelievably friendly and their home is beautiful! The rooms were perfect - spacious, VERY clean, your private tv and bathroom. Then the little touches that came with the room - towels (one for makeup), make-up remover cloths, comfy robes, shampoo,...

Vicky and Richard are very welcoming to their B&B. The breakfasts are delicious and have always accommodated dietary restrictions. Their B&B is set in a quiet, spacious neighbourhood in Shawnigan Lake. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have all of the necessities you would need.
