Great room. Clean. Great staff. Forget the breakfast. The waffles are no longer true waffles but instead a highly sugared "Eggo" style you put in a toaster. Sleep late and go out for brunch elsewhere unless you have kids who will eat dry cereal/toast to save you money. Not being a local I felt a phonebook and phone would have...

The Canadian Wilderness Inn was clean, comfortable, friendly, accommodating and had the best free breakfast ever! There was the usual toast, juice, cereal, muffins and coffee, but then there were waffles and fresh fruit salad.

We recently stayed here. The front entrance has a wildlife theme, really neat. While its not in high style, its definitely worth the drive. The beds we OK. We could enjoy our breakfast as an extended family, 3 generations! Staff was very helpful.

To be fully honest, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I stayed at The Wilderness Inn many times in the past, and it has sure gone downhill since my last stay at the beginning of March 2016. The staff are very unfriendly, rude, and constantly on their cell phones or hiding in the back. The room was messy,...

We stayed here the beginning of July. After reading the review last left on here, I am highly compelled to write my opinion. This place was awesome! It was a very busy weekend, but the staff was friendly and outgoing. Rooms were clean, and far surpassed what we expected in a small rural town! We got to be some of...

We stayed at the Boissevain Mb. Inn on July 1st and 2nd 2016 and found it to be dirty and very hard to get answers for things. The hours of the front desk are just terrible. The bed was hard as rock, found dirty Kleenex under the bed and had to wear shoes for all the sand and peebles on the floor(no vacuum...

When making a reservation make sure you request the remodeled rooms, which are the same price as the older rooms. We stayed in an older room and feel we paid too much for what we got. There wasn't even any kleenex in the room.

Maybe it was just the day...but answers I got from the desk staff were very confusing to me. It went something like this. Check out was at 11:00 or whenever and breakfast started at 7:00 a.m. and went till whenever. The front desk closes at 9:00 p.m. but maybe 7:00 depending on something I didn't quite get. Luckily I didn't...

I've stayed in many smaller prairie communities in my business travels and The Wilderness Inn rates among the finest. The décor the lobby warrants more than just a glance. Without a reservation, I was assigned a large room with the usual amenities, however, was pleasantly surprised by the King size bed. The room was spotless! I didn't know where I...
