I stayed for one night and found the room to be very clean, with nice décor. The owners were very nice and breakfast was made to order ...eggs any style with bacon and toast. The location was in a quite valley with mountain views in...More
We both loved this property and the uniqueness of the building. It was built in the 1930's by the owners father and the interior was enhanced over the following years. Our host were great and the location in the country was very peaceful. Very filling...More
The interior, exterior and surroundings of the home were gorgeous. Beautiful wood all over the inside of the home. It was raining when we arrived and we only had one night there, so unfortunately, we didn't get to explore the grounds, which were beautiful.
Enjoyed our stay. Remote and quiet area.
Beautiful grounds, clean rooms with tv and private bathroom, screened in porch was enjoyable in the evening. A nice breakfast. Hansel had a great sense of humor. Not a lot of options for restaurants. Be sure to visit...More

We stayed here last July and it was a beautiful home in a beautiful area. Finding dinner was our only problem. We were told there were a number of places within 5-10 minutes. Every one of them was closed, some for the day (only lunch hours) and some were just shut down completely. We went to a nearby "resort" that had a restaurant, the dining room was all but empty (maybe 5 customers) but they were extremely rude to us because we didn't make a reservation. We left. We ended up having to eat dinner at the local gas station that had a food fryer, not awful but not what we wanted or expected. I would suggest bringing sandwiches or something with you to eat for dinner before you get into the area.
