After Albert's Motel cancelled our reservation a few days before our visit (they had double-booked the rooms months earlier), we were fortunate to book two rooms at the Acadian Motel for our group of 6. The manager was a serious fellow but very helpful. We didn't have high expectations for these budget accommodations but were pleased with the rooms, low...

On our long drive of the Cabot trail we came upon this wonderful gem of a motel. We decided to stay a couple of nights. The motel is centrally located with a great harbor view and on a clear evening we had a great view of the sunset over Cheticamp Island. The room was neat and clean and the proprietor...

This guy said he had 3 rooms available until he found out we had motorcycles, then he said he had none available. That my dear friend is discrimination!!! We have kids with us and are very quiet and go to bed by 10:00. You just lost our business as well as our friends and so on.

We spent two nights at this wonderful motel. The service we received was outstanding, from the moment we walked in unannounced to the moment we left. Great value, spotlessly clean room and really friendly staff. Value for money too. Centrally located, close to the restaurants and whale watching boats. Also close to the post office and a liquor store.Highly recommended.

The room was very comfortable and the staff were very helpful with places to visit, eat etc. We get spoiled however and I missed the convenience of a coffee maker and a hair dryer in my room. Also be sure to bring your own shampoo.

My wife & I arrived after a long day of biking and we were looking forward to a relaxing ocean swim to cool off. Our motel owner/manager asked his wife to help ... she drove us to a wonderful beach and came back and picked us up an hour later! Now that's what I call hospitality!

One problem I had with choosing a motel in Chéticamp is figuring out where “downtown” is. I like to walk everywhere after a day’s driving. This motel’s location is as good as it gets. Cross the street, turn right, and you will find the south end of the harbor boardwalk. The host is very personable and helpful. The room was...

We stayed one night in late August. Initially, we had planned to stay 2 nights in Cheticamp but when we arrived, we decided to stay an extra day. Unfortunately, the motel that we were staying at was booked so the owner suggested we try the Acadian. A room was available and we were able to check in early. The room...

i stayed here for two nights In ?September. My room was very clean. Internet was really slow. A little outdated but okay for a short stay. The owner and staff were friendly and showed me all the good places to set. If you are visiting the national park be sure to go on the skyline trail.. Spectacular

We stayed at Cheticamp on our first night in Cape Breton. Regular hotel chains are pretty much non-existent here, so one has to pick from the available motels and B&Bs, No B&Bs were present and we got in late, so we went with the Acadian. As expected, the place is a notch or two below standard hotel/motel chains. The rooms...
