Bill and Ann Marie Monk are wonderful people who share their home with guests. The house and entire atmosphere in Granville Ferry is so quaint and friendly. We visited during "low season" and many things were closed, but that didn't discourage the trip, we had an amazing time and were still able to find much to do. Ann Marie's breakfast...

In April my son and his wife came home from Saskatchewan. For a vacation they wanted to visited the Annapolis Valley, a special place we all love. We arrived at the A Seafaring Maiden Bed and Breakfast and we were greeted at the door and treated like royalty. Words cannot express the beauty of this old home and the hospitality...

I just returned from a trip to Nova Scotia with my girlfriend where we spent six idyllic nights at A Seafaring Inn with our hosts, Bill and AnnMarie Monk. We stayed in the Captain's room where we had a bathroom en suite. The old home is in great shape; it is clean, fresh, updated and warm. Bill and AnnMarie are...

During our trip across canada we had a stay at "A Seafaring Maiden" B&B. It was a great experience. The owner, Bill and Marie Ann, do anything for the well being of their guests. The rooms are very original and beautifully decorated. The breakfast you can prepare at home is not more varied and better. We can recommend all of...

We decided on short notice to travel to Annapolis Royal for a night and booked the Seafaring Maiden based on reviews we had read here. We were welcomed like old friends when we arrived. We were given a choice of rooms and selected the Captain which was very comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous-breakfast apple crisp and Eggs Bennie. Our hosts were...

Bill and Anne-Marie where perfect hosts and we received a warm welcome on a very cold day. Our visit was out of season and so we hapened to be the only guests that night - Bill was kind enough to let us choose whichever of the lovely rooms we wanted - it was a tough choice as they were all...

From the moment we arrived, we felt "at home". After checking in, Ann Marie offered us tea, which was delivered to us shortly afterward by Bill along with cookies and served in china cups and saucers. We spent a quiet and enjoyable evening in our beautifully decorated, comfortable room. In the morning fresh coffee was set outside our room to...

Bill and Ann Marie were warm and inviting hosts. From the moment we arrived until we said goodbye, we felt well attended to. We stayed in The Captain, a cozy nautical themed room. The linens were crisp, the towels were plush, and the view of the river serene. A morning coffee service left outside of our room was much appreciated....
