We spent two nights here with our dog. LOVED our spacious room! The bathroom, too, was amazing, and the shower had three levels of spray and could have fit ten :) Wonderfully comfortable bed, and loads of space for all of us to relax, with two juliette balconies. Great staff and a good restaurant on site, with lots close by....

The Red Pump has been awarded 4 diamonds from CAA/AAA and I can understand why. We've eaten three meals during our week and they were the best I had the entire time. Harry, the owner was very welcoming on the front porch, and much to our surprise we met many other delightful guests dining there. My favourites are the 'Amuse...

My brother and I had a great lunch at the Red Pump and what a relaxing and enjoying dining experience. We ate on the back patio which is such a peaceful atmosphere and I highly recommend it. The presentation was spot on and the food was fresh and prepared just right. The only complaint is that we waited longer than...

Last weekend I had a business presentation to do in Bayfield, ON, but as we love the area my husband and I added a couple of days to our visit. We stayed at The Red Pump and we really, really enjoyed ourselves. The room was exceptional and from the minute we walked into the reception area we were warmly greeted...

We had bacon wrapper chorizo stuffed dates for an ap, we fought over the last one :-) Followed those with braised veal shank on risotto and broccoli crowns smothered in a cauliflower puree LOVELY! Only regret was we had no room fo...

My wife and I have been to the Red Pump Restaurant many times in the last few years, this is because we find that the dimly lit rooms full of candles and soft music makes the perfect atmosphere for a romantic night out. Not to mention the whole menu seems reasonably priced for fine dining. I have to say since...

Visited here on a Saturday night to a busy crowd. Was promptly waited on and served. The atmosphere was lovely and the food even lovelier. I was served a wonderfully cold pinot grigio which I enjoyed with my meal. It started off with a tasty little amuse bouche of a melt in your mouth vegetable puff. I followed that up...

My husband booked 2 rooms at this hotel for this weekend for another couple and us. Unfortunately, circumstances changed and we are not able to go. When my husband made the reservation he was NOT told that there was a non refundable deposit. We just assumed it was like all hotels that hold the room on your credit card. I...

We booked 3 evenings from Wednesday, July 22 to Friday, July 23, 2015 as our honeymoon in Bayfield Upon arrival, the operator of the restaurant (no one was managing the hotel component) required us to pay in full in advance of our stay. We had given $200 deposit (non refundable as per booking terms and conditions online). This should have...

We made a last minute decision on the Labour Day weekend, to take off and go down the east coast of Lake Huron. We ended up in a little town called Bayfield, which I'd never even heard of before. It's reminiscent of Niagara-on-the-Lake - very quaint. While there, we stayed at The Red Pump Inn which, lucky for us, had...
