We have been going to Lumina Resort for a very long time! My father went there when he was a kid and my grandfather went there when he was a kid. The beach is a very fun place for everyone with kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats for everyone's use. In the lake, there is a inflatable trampoline and slide that...

Jack, thank you so much for your wonderful review, it is nice to have a "kids perspective" about Lumina. We have lots of families like yours, who have been coming for generations. We try and make it a place that kids will remember all the fun they had and can not wait for the next visit!

We booked a family get together at Lumina for 4 families. Two families stayed in the lodge and two stayed in cabins. The lodge rooms were simple, well equipped and clean. The cabins were rustic (which is totally OK if you know that going in) however one family stayed in the Peter Pan cabin and it unfortunately leaked badly during...

Wonderful, friendly staff. Delicious food. Quaint cabins in the woods. Beautiful Muskoka setting on Lake of Bays. The atmosphere is golden here: people actually put their devices aside and bond with one another face-to-face. How? Through physical, outdoor activities like swimming, paddle-boarding, kayaking, hiking, shuffle board, croquet, tennis, and soccer. Then there's all the indoor activities: board games, cards, ping...

Lumina is where to go if you are looking for the quintessential Muskoka family vacation. A beautiful beach on Lake of Bays with an island a short kayak/canoe ride away, stunning sunsets, deer outside our cabin in the mornings, hearty and satisfying breakfasts and dinners, cheerful and kind staff (Lauren you are the best!!!), charming cabins (Cottontail and Snowy Owl),...

To the Ziskand and Odinockis families, we are so glad you enjoyed your vacation with us, and thank you for the glowing review. Yes the deer are always fun to see, we have 2 sets of twin fawns here this summer, too cute! Hope to see you again next summer.

An ideal location to rest, relax, and bond....gorgeous lakeside setting. Rustic but comfortable cottage with lots of amenities (four bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a tub), open plan kitchen (no dishwasher) nice deck with a great view of Lake of Bays. .Newish comfortably firm beds. Lots of natural light and fresh air.

Beautiful location. Picturesque water front. Friendly staff. Monotonous breakfasts. Great dinners. Friendly but slow service/is the resort understaffed?/.Good activities for kids. Very basic accommodations considering the price. We occupied cabin Poppy- very run down, with hollow floor in the bathroom moving and shaking under every step. Dark, musty. Should be either totally redone or excluded from use. Towels unacceptable. No...

Hello Aleksander, I am sorry your stay with us was not up to your expectations. I spoke with members of the family group you were with, and they were quite happy with their stay and accommodation. Breakfast offers three choices per day and changes daily with a huge breakfast buffet on Saturday, so I am not sure why you found...

My family just got back from spending a week at the Lumina Resort. Upon checkout on Saturday, I was never asked once how our stay was, or if we were planning on returning next year so I thought I would take the time to review how our week was here. What we loved about Lumina: We really enjoyed meeting other...

We visited this place in June 2016 for a family trip. The same weekend they opened for the season. The staff were great and courteous. Cottages were clean and well maintained. The food was good. No complaints at all and we will definitely be going back!

My wife and I got married at Lumina Resort on June 25, 2016. It was our dream wedding and exceeded our expectations. The owner, Vicki, was fantastic and accommodated all our requests and questions. We started our wedding on the Thursday where we had a family meal in the beautiful North Lodge. Our guests started arriving on the Friday and...

My daughter was married at Lumina last weekend, and we couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. Lumina puts together a wonderful weekend package including a BBQ, bonfire, cocktail reception, dinner and dance, all of which went off without a hitch. Lumina is not a particularly "posh" venue for a wedding, but it was perfect for us - good food,...
