We invite you to unwind, relax, reconnect and rejuvenate at our small cottage resort on peaceful Purdy Lake which is located between Bancroft and Barry's Bay on the quieter, southeast side of More Ontario's Algonquin Park. Our all-inclusive, 'cut-above', resort has 1,500 feet of frontage on a largely undeveloped lake. A pair of loons nest on the island in the centre and their mournful cries are music for the soul. With just 6 housekeeping cottages on 20 acres you will be sharing this slice of the sparsely populated Canadian Algonquin Highlands with only a few other guests and the local wildlife. Many of our guests come for weekend or mid-week getaways during the even quieter fall, winter and spring seasons. Less

We shared this 2000 square foot chalet with our son/wife and their 3 preschoolers. It was perfect for them as it was roomy, a nice spacious, secluded spot where the kids could run around, and play in the sandbox just outside the front door with a multitude of sand toys and a

THe weather outside was frightful, us inside, just delightful.
Does anyone know the email or contact method used to ask questions about bookings? I can't seem to find the contact information on the app.
Is the High Noon cottage cold at night in late September? Do we need to take heaters?
We were there in August. However, the cottage is fully winterized, with a sauna and a hot tub, I cannot imagine for a second you would need heaters at all! I would definitely say no and if I were going I would not be taking them. Hope that helps!

hi is your pool heated?
Blue Moon Retreat does not have a pool however they have lovely hot tubs in each cottage. The Rideau Ferry Inn has a pool however it is not heated. I hope this answers your question :) Angelique Jahn
