We travelled with our daughter from Victoria to Prince Edward County to visit family and this beautiful island. This was our second visit and we stayed again at Moonlight on the Lake B&B for two nights and enjoyed our time there tremendously...Breathtaking views of Lake Ontario, on a quiet rural road.... and we live on the Pacific Ocean! We had... More

We have been going to PEC in October for the last 5 years and we have always stayed at Moonlight on the Lake except for 1 year when Booking.com said they did not have room availability. It has always been a great experience. Comfortable rooms, relaxing lounge area, amazing food and wonderful conversations with our hosts. The last 2 years... More

We have just left...early, from our one night stay. Never again. Th first phone call to book was Tuesday for Saturday. The owner was cranky then, saying she wanted a two night reservation and telling us how busy it was. The place smells of mold. It was cold...as in ten degrees, cold. We asked to have the heat turned on,... More

Dear Connie H. from Kingston, This is some creative writing. Now my turn. Facts: -You and your partner won a bid at a silent auction for a fund raiser in Kingston. The package included one night stay at our B&B and a day spent with a naturalist at Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory and it had very specific conditions: to... More

It is unfortunate that the first communication with a property proves to be such a negative one. I called to inquire about room availability for an upcoming weekend, and was at first greeted cordially by one family member, who quickly referred the call to another. It went downhill from there. She indicated they were very busy serving breakfast "because this... More

We were two couples that booked both rooms at the Moonligt. That ment that we had the floor to ourselves; that is two bedrooms and seperate bathrooms, a large cottage style living area with our own kitchen facilities with fridge. The Moonlight was super comfortable and relaxing. This is the best B&B we have experienced. Suzanne welcomed and treated us... More

Suzanne and Andre ar great hosts and will make you feel at home in no time in this beautiful and charming country setting. If you want peace and quiet, and a great view on the lake, you're at the right place. Both rooms are clean, tastefully decorated and reflect the couple's love for detail. They are bright and spacious, and... More

Positives: quiet, lake view, friendly hosts Negatives: pricey -$186/night for 2 in cramped queen 'Monet' room, bathroom down hall. Bed not that comfy. The two bedrooms are on ground level of house, all guests share a common entrance and lounge. The 'Degas' room has a bed, a toilet and a tub ALL in one big bedroom. The chairs to sit... More

Truly enjoyed our stay here. the room was clean and spacious and the hosts were so friendly. Suzanne asked me what my hubby would like for breakfast seeing how we were on a road trip for his birthday. She made delicious pancakes, maple sausages and a rhubarb crumble. Truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much :)

We spent an extended weekend at Moonlight on the Lake just outside Wellington, Prince Edward County and have a great time. We are a family of four (mom, dad, two kids ages 6 and 8), and mom's mother. The accommodations were perfect, just the right size, clean, comfortable, quiet, and ideally situated. The property is immaculate. Our hosts were kind... More
