This facility was in a good location for us because it is close to Green Gables and Cavendish Beach as well as the Dunelands Trail. When we were there it was very quiet due to being shoulder season. The executive cottage unit was furnished with knotty pine furniture and kitchen cupboards and had laminate flooring throughout . Broom was provided...

Very pleased we chose this place from a wealth of accommmodation on offer! The cottage was well laid out and equipped, and had a large private terrace with full sized gas BBQ. Spotlessly clean, with good linens. Friendly helpful reception.

Most sites list this as a 4-star resort. This is most definitely not 4-star quality. The cottage we stayed in was considered an executive cottage - there was nothing executive about it. There are no telephones in the room... what kind of 'executive' accommodation doesn't have a telephone?? The cottage was in need of repair - there was a big...

The inn is very old and had seen better days. Building shifting has made doors difficult to close if at all. Carpets need replacing in hallways due to unpleasant odours. The night front desk staff person was not in a good mood and seemed annoyed at life in general. Would not repeat a stay in the future.

Reserved a room in the inn. In our opinion, the 10 x 10 foot room felt like a cell, the floors slanted in every direction, the room door did not close properly and everything in the room was dirty. Reserved for four nights and knew we could not do one night let alone one hour here. We were not the...

This was awesome. Stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 story house! This was wonderful great value! Saw all the sights of the area great location. We stayed 2 nights and Rachels next door for breakfast was terrific! We were there in early September, lots are closed for the season. Everything shuts down or is closed by 8pm! We arrived late...

we stayed in one of the 2 bedroom cottages in 2009 and loved it, so we decided to book there again, but in the lodge. BIG mistake. The stairs do not feel sturdy, as they were very, very old and creaky. There is absolutely no sound proofing between rooms, hallways and outside. The air conditioner was so loud that we...

We spent a delightful 4 nights at Shining Waters. It was a perfect location for out travels, from heading west to the Potato Museum to east to Chalottetown, plus Anne of Green Gables attractions and biking along the shore. The staff were friendly and helpful. Having a grill at each cottage is a great plus!

Conveniently located to all attractions on the Cavendish 'strip'. .8km walk to Cavendish Beach. Most restaurants and the boardwalk are within walking distance. Many hiking, biking & walking trails are nearby, including the Haunted Wood of Ann Shirley. My biggest regret was in not bringing my bike, this a very bike friendly province. The cottage was amazing, our hosts &...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom duplex cottage for 3 nights. It was a nice stay at a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly. The cottage was clean upon arrival, and the towels and garbage were cleaned each day. The cottage we were in was dated, with an old tv and furniture, but we could see that other cottages...
