I agree with the other reviews. Great location and views in the center of the Islands. Clean with comfortable beds and dated styling. Very low wattage lighting in small bathroom with insufficient safety bars so be careful. Trip to pool too arduous for me with some mobilty issues. No elevator to pool floor and many complicated stairs. As noted by others,... More

Stayed for 3 nights during a tour. Room was clean and generous in size. Restaurant accommodated my food allergy admirably. Beautiful views. Pix is the view from my room. There is a great gift shop and a pool. Not speaking French is not an issue. Would stay there again or recommend to a friend.

Chateau Madelinot sits picturesquely back from road on the water, lobby check-in area is bright, lively, complete with souvenirs and Island travel brochures. Front desk staff are friendly efficient and bilingual. Hotel is centrally located close to the ferry in Les Îles de la Madeleine - most destinations less than 1/2 h drive and approximately a 30-40 min round-trip walk... More

Very nice hotel and staff and view. Only one bad thing; if you plan to use wireless internet, do not plan to do it at this hotel. It is very, very, very slow and sometimes it does not even work at slow speed. The good technology is here now so please get up to speed.

Recently stayed here for 4 days while bicycling thought the Iles. The rooms are quite basic but well kept. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. There is no A/C but we were there in September and all rooms have a large patio door which can be opened and this cooled the room down very quickly at night.... More

We enjoyed this hotel very much. The room was a bit small for 4 people but the breakfast was wonderful and the pool (though small) was adequate. It was nice to be right on the beach for evening walks.

This hotel is a 3* rating as a hotel. Rooms are basic without air conditioning. AC is only required for a few days in the summer and most hotels on the islands do not have AC in the rooms. Room was VERY clean and the staff quite friendly. The views are fantastic and the hotel is right on the water.... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as a single. Room was comfortable and view out on the deck was a magnificent ocean view. Beach just a few minutes walk out the back of the Chateau. If you do not have transportation it is a 15 to 30 minutes (depending on how you handle a up hill walk) to town. Breakfast... More

Love this hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The view is unbelievable. Would definitely go back. They let us go in early and let us leave an hour late. Pool was fun for the kids. Enough parking. Close to everything.
