You cannot go wrong with this property. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts/ hotels and as a young couple, owners tend to be less friendly towards you, but not in this bnb. They were THE nicest hosts we have ever encountered. The room was really clean, cozy and really spacious. The house is really cozy and clean as...

We loved our stay at La Châtelaine. The location is great and the views around the inn are beautiful. The rooms were clean and quaint (exactly what we were looking for) and the breakfasts were delicious, served with fresh local products daily. Most appealing of all were the hosts; they were incredibly nice and accommodating. For example, they shared all...

We loved everything about La Chatelaine. It has a quiet, convenient location with a lovely view. We had a great welcome from our host and plenty of useful advice about the area and restaurants for dinner - both suggestions for restaurants were excellent. Breakfast was delicious both mornings with a good choice of homemade items. Our room was spacious enough...

We had spent three nights in a budget hotel in Quebec City, squeezed into a tiny room with feeble ventilation and a bathroom that seemed to be shared with the entire floor and so were desperately looking forward to a bit of luxury as we approached La Malbaie and the Auberge La Châtelaine. The website had looked promising and we...

The inn is quite old and the rooms are not sound proofed at all. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. My river view was from a 1x1.2 meter window 1.5 metres from the ground. Over all it was pleasant.

Auberge La Châtelaine is perfectly located in La Malbaie, whether you want to go skiing at Mont Grands Fonds, spending time at the Casino or just relaxing while strolling along the St-Lawrence. It's an old home with creaks and cracks but with lots of charm and warmth. Arnaud, the host, is very gracious, has a wonderful sense of humour and...

I stayed at the lovely Auberge La Chatelaine in mid-June and enjoyed wonderful hospitality. I had the lovely Chantilly room - a symphony in pink!. As I like pink, it was perfect, while the lion claw-foot bath just added that extra special touch. The old house dates back to the late 19th century and has an interesting history, which the...

We stayed two nights at this charming B & B. Our host Arnaud and his wife Odile are exceptionally welcoming, helpful, and informative. The rooms have old fashioned charm in a late 19th century home. Breakfast on the veranda with its excellent view of the St. Lawrence River is a treat, not to mention the good food.
