Amazing views, quaint, extremely welcoming and accommodating, superb gourmet dinner, which made for one of my memorable lodging experiences. Breakfast with a beautiful view! Each room had exceptional detail with crafted woodwork through out the B & B. We lodged here while snow skiing at Le Massif-just a 15 minute drive. The spa was perfect after snow skiing!

Owners really need to update this place. They were very nice and tried to give us a nice visit but every inch of the place is covered in ticky tacky stuff. Fake flowers on the bathrobes, big butterflies on the walls, stuffed animal on the bed. The music in the dining room reminded of weddings I went to as a... More

You must come here! The view is amazing, the environment is calm, clean and relaxing. The owners are so nice and really take care of you. I stayed in a room 6where you could see the river and the mountains through the window. Super close to the ski slopes (15 min away by car to be precise) the decor in... More

When skiing, hiking or just enjoying this wonderful area of the province make sure you stay at the Auberge Cote d'or. From the minute you walk into the aunerge Robin and Lili (and family) make you feel like part of the family. Clean, fun and what a view. When we left the talk between us was that we have made... A real treat if you are in the area for a day or more. We stayed 5 nights, received specialized treatment from this passionate couple and new owners of the inn. The rooms and dining room are a true honor to wood craftmenship giving a rustic ambiance to the inn. The view from the dining room, most rooms and the... More

Absolutely ignore any reviews before summer 2013 as the new owners are putting in tremendous effort to make their own mark on this quaint country inn. The previous owner clearly combined his talent for frenetic wood working with the long Canadian winters and literally all surfaces have been lovingly sculptured, many with exquisite detail - the place is a paradise... This is a quaint inn nestled in the Charlevoix mountain area, right on the St. Lawrence River. The new owners are delightful and really strive to make you feel at home (in both French and English!) The beds are comfortable and there was even our own gas fireplace in the room. The wine list is extensive and the meals are... More
