Both the Table D'Hote dinner, and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Cute, quiet rooms, friendly host (mainly French language speakers). The groups were amazing, saw them setting up for a wedding which would be perfect. One room had a patio for sitting out before supper, very clean, would definitely return and highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Auberge la Grange for two nights in September on vacation while on our way further north. We called the hotel in the afternoon to let them know we would arrive late. When we arrived, I went in first to check-in while my boyfriend unloaded the bags. The owner was behind the bar in the... More

This is a very charming, quaint inn and is tastefully decorated. It's in a very peaceful, quiet setting off the main road. We ate supper on the outdoor terrace and watched the beautiful sunset over the distant mountains! Very good meal! We had two breakfasts there, both high quality. We were in room #8 on the top floor. It was... More

We visited in June and arrived without a reservation to a very busy restaurant. We were impressed with the enchanting location overlooking the strawberry fields, island countryside and the beautifully landscaped property. We were attended to amidst all the activity and settled into room four. We spent a wonderful evening on the patio watching the sunset with a good glass... More

My husband and I stayed here in March and we booked online directly with the hotel. It is located very close to the bridge to Quebec, which was wonderfully convenient as we spent the day driving around the island and then arrived at the inn at the end of our circuit. The room was very quaint, comfortable and clean. The... More

This inn is off the main road, so watch carefully for the sign right before the turn. We had a room on the 3rd floor - there is no elevator- and it is an attic room with slopping ceilings, and I am 5 feet tall. So if you are tall, rooms 7 & 8 would be a challenge. It was... More

My experience with this establishment was far from satisfactory. The staff were completely unprofessional and rude. During my stay my vehicle was vandalised over night. The damage to my vehicle was substantial and significant. I am now faced with the responsibility of having to get a new paint job to the majority of my car. The staff of this establishment... More

Where to begin? La Grange was superb in every way--from the delightful innkeepers (Amélie and Pierre), to the exquisite culinary daily delights, to the easy access to the entire lovely island and mainland, to the retreat-like grounds, we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. I would go back in a heartbeat and not even consider staying in "the city" (i.e.,... More

After reading a review by Rochelle Lash in the Montreal Gazette in August, we decided to visit Ile d'Orléans and stay at La Grange de l'Ile. Rochelle was correct: this place is a hidden treasure! Our hosts were Pierre & Amélie. Pierre, a commerical photographer, takes care of the property while Amélie does wonders in the kitchen. We also met... More
