Spent 2 nights at Le Pleasant. What a wonderful boutique property. From checkin to the amazing brunch. Make sure to check out the local microbrew which is right down the street. This hotel was amazing. We will be back

We requested, and received, a top floor room. Very quiet, very clean, very modern in furnishing. Free wifi and wonderful pillows! The service was very friendly. Recommended a delightful place for dinner when we realized both our first choices, a couple micro breweries, were closed on Monday night when we were there. Wonderful breakfast with very tasty cappuccinos.

Beautifully renovated hotel, with very comfortable rooms. Other reviews mentioned hard beds, but we found it very comfy. Breakfast in the cafe was lovely, including gluten free bread as requested. The only thing we didn't like was the fact we could not open a window for some fresh air, and the air conditioning unit (fixed in the window) was a... More

What is there more to say about Le Pleasant than what countless others have said before. This hotel can rekindle romances, guys. It has vintage charm, intimacy, quietude, spotless cleanliness, classy staff, the breakfast is absolutely delicious and the location/scenery is great. We stayed for two nights in a superior room. The size was more than adequate. The bathroom is... More

I stayed this past weekend with a group as part of the bridal party for a wedding. Well, everything was perfect and everyone said so. The owners were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and modern and the food was delicious. We are from Montreal so we didn't have to travel that far, but when we arrived we... More

We booked one of the larger family rooms, meaning sofa beds for our 2 boys and a separate bedroom for us. Very spacious accommodation which well met our needs. The Hotel is very pleasantly furnished and the staff are courteous and friendly. Breakfast on the terrace was a joy, beautiful food and plenty of it setting us up nicely for... More

My biggest complaint about this place is also the most important: the bed. The beds are extremely hard! It's not much better than sleeping on the carpet. It reminds me of sleeping outside in a tent in a sleeping bag. I think Canadian prisoners are afforded more comfortable mattresses than what are provided here. Also, the air conditioner is a... My recent stay at Le Pleasant was pleasant, but it left me feeling that it could have been better. The location is wonderful, in the centre of Sutton, the house historic. Our room was on the small side and very simply furnished. A little creativity could have made it a lot more special. Although it was my birthday the owners... More

We are sorry that your stay has not met your expectations. The decoration of our rooms is contemporary and minimal with original artwork in every room. While some rooms are smaller with a lower price point, every room follow the same design scheme. While it pleases most customers, we understand that it was not the style you like and that... More

Very nice hotel, older house but completely renovated. Modern and well decorated rooms, free wifi and coffee machine in room. Friendly service. Really good breakfast served on patio when the weather is nice. Hotel is right next to main street, close to restaurants.

I knew nothing about Sutton or this beautifully renovated hotel before we set foot in it. Michel, the owner, was gracious and generous to upgrade us to a bigger room (thank you!). The owners have successfully renovated this historical house with modern amenities, clean and elegant design, and turned it into a comfortable base to explore Sutton and the nearby... More
