For a in town hotel this is one of the best . This hotel is right on the beach and at the south end of town . The hotel is well maintained. There is a lot of hardwood details . I liked the evening lighting...More
I wish I could write a personal thank you note to every member of the staff here, who helped make our week so very lovely. The beachfront location puts you quite far from the cruise ship rush, so no need to make more of that...More
Right on the beach but at the very end of the promenade so you have more privacy. The restaurant has very good food. The rooms are comfortable and clean, not extraordinary. this is a three star hotel but one of the best you can get...More

We visited in early March; the sargassum washed up and could pile up quite a bit. At this hotel, the (wonderful) staff worked diligently in the morning to rake and clean the beach. So it wasn't a hinderance to our experience and certainly not an issue for snorkeling, which we did off the beach and through a reef tour as well. We had come from Tulum, where the sargassum seemed to be denser and harder to remove. So it was present, but I wouldn't have cancelled my trip over it, and a good idea to be at a hotel where it's being managed.
