We are located right on the boardwalk in front of the Caribbean sea where you can enjoy a wonderful day on our beautiful beach or take a stroll and get to know our local businesses and people. We currently have 8 rooms, each room is decorated differently and have a mix of modern comforts and local style. Every room has 2 queen sized beds, private bathroom, air conditioning, free WIFI, flat screen TV, SKY, refrigerator, coffee maker, and safe. We now have 2 rooms handicapped accessible on the first floor. Hotel El Caballo Blanco offers maid service, fresh towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and linens daily. We have a pharmacy at your disposal with everything you might need. One of our greatest amenities is the roof top terrace where you can enjoy the best view of Mahahual while soaking in our beautiful roof top pool. The hotel is personally supervised by its owner who takes care to watch over every detail and service offered by the hotel. She strives to offer only the best to her guests. Just returned home from a recent trip three week trip to Mexico and stayed with Tina at El Caballo Blanco for 4 nights. My wife and I simply love this property and would consider staying nowhere else when we are next visiting Mahahual. It's located in the middle of the Malecon and the rooms are nicely decorated with balconies that have views that cannot be bettered anywhere. It's biggest asset is it's owner, Tina, who is genuinely concerned that you enjoy your stay and is always available to provide helpful advice and assistance.

We are so happy with the hotel we choose for our week in Mahahual. The location is second to none. It's directly on the malecón with it's own beach. The room was clean spacious and had a ridiculously large deck to lounge on. As avid scuba divers we were happy to have a great dive shop, Dr Dive, right next door to the hotel. Tina the owner is a fantastic host and was always there to ask questions or get information from. She even made arrangements for us to go on an eco tour with local guide Victor who operates Mahahual Ecotours. When we go back to Mahahual we would look no further that this hotel as It met all our needs and more. It deserves all the five star reviews it gets. Thanks for the great week Tina, it was so nice to be travelling again after a long couple of years and there was no better place to travel to.…

My friends and I had a fabulous time at Hotel El Caballo Blanco! Our rooms were spacious, very clean and had gorgeous ocean views. The location is prime - steps away from the water, a coffee shop and yummy cafe's. Tina, the owner, is great fun and quick with helpful restaurant and activity recommendations. The entire staff was delightful. The hotel also hosts an amazing italian restaurant on their roof. Tina helped us arrange a private dinner there for our friend's 21st birthday. It was a multi-coursed, delicious meal accompanied by an incredible opera singer! It was a gorgeous experience. I adore Mahahual and can't wait to come back! I will definitely return to Hotel El Caballo Blanco.

Stayed here with a few friends—we had a beachfront room on each floor, all with a private patios, which was so nice. Everyone who works here is super friendly and as an added bonus the owner, Tina, has lived in the area for nearly two decades so can advise you on anyyyyyything you need to know. The restaurant on the roof is amazing, the drinks at the beachfront bar are delicious, and it’s walking distance to everything you’d want—snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, bike rentals, etc.

This amazing hotel is beach front, next to YaYa Beach. Tina, the owner, if friendly and completely bi-lingual. The rooms are super clean and spacious. I love staying here, you feel you're right in the heart of Mahahual and staying in luxury.

Heard about HOTEL EL CABALLO BLANCO from a person who'd stayed and super glad we took her advice. Location in town could not be better. It would be impossible to find a hotel that is better situated in that town. The owner was a wealth of knowledge and committed to making our stay perfect. We stayed 5 day and 4 nights and on our last night we had a wonderful dinner at the roof-top restaurant. Street parking was as simple as it gets, our room had a balcony that was right on top of the boardwalk and super close to the ocean. When we go back we would not think of staying anywhere else. This town is going to be a very popular destination once the word gets out how fabulous Mahahaul is. HOTEL EL CABALLO BLANCO is not a luxury hotel by any stretch of the imagination but we were not looking for a luxury location. The amenities fit the location, nothing fancy. Everything worked, we had two queen beds and both we awesome and we always felt like the staff would do anything to make our stay perfect.…

I stayed here for 4 nights. This is a beautiful hotel that sits right on the malecón and beach! The bed was super soft and they have hot showers- both things that can be hard to find in Mexico. The view is fabulous! This would be a great spot for an intimate wedding or romantic getaway! There is a small rooftop pool with a fantastic view. I had dinner cooked by a private Italian chef who will cook elaborate meals for you on the roof. His wife performs while you dine and sings both opera and other music while you eat. You won’t find this kind of meal elsewhere in Mahahual! I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great time here. The room and pool were very nice. Everything was kept very clean. We stayed for a week. Tina was the go to person for most questions. Very helpful. Unfortunately were there when the covid-19 hit and all cruise ships were cancelled.Kinda nice and quite but most places shut down while we were there. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here in early January and had a fabulous stay. It was easy to find, right in the center of town on Malecon/Beach. Tina the owner was willing to help with anything we needed or provide information! There are restaurants all around and you can even get food and drinks delivered to the beach right outside your room. Dive shop AND ice cream shop right next door. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean..overall perfect stay on the beach!
