Its very close to mayan ruins, this is good. Its very close to the main road, this is bad. Too loud for me. After 5 min. walk, you can see the beautiful ruins, and landscape. My wife said for me, the breakfast was little poor, and the service was soooo slow. I had a feeling, like going back in time......

Our location, right across the archeological Gem that is Uxmal, can not be better. Our hand carved wood furniture brought you memories of Agatha Christie... Great ! Your grade is sad... We all try very hard and believe we deserved much, much better than that. Location and Value can not be beat, really.

We initially booked the 4 bedroom house at Casa del Mago. The description said 4 bedroom, 2 bathrooms. When we got in, we were surprised to find only 1 bathroom, for 8 people. Karina was nice enough to switch us to Hacienda Uxmal, because of the error in the description.

We have corrected the description on our brand new bungalow to incorporate that it has one very large, complete bathroom. Sad to learn that even with us giving you upgrades and accommodating your every need you respond to our gestures with ingratitud. We will always go out of our way to please clients. With 3 distinct properties in Uxmal, we...

After 2 mails from la Casa Del Mago that people are waiting for my review, I will not let you wait. I have to say I was not a guest there. I was booked into another hotel because in Casa del Mago had been construction works that Time. The other hotel next to Casa Del Mago was very good. So...

Our time at the Hacienda was perfect. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. The meal service was wonderful with a large selection of food available at the buffet. It is definitely worth spending several days there to relax and see all the ruins in the area at a slow pace. We...

I can recommend this hotel. It is very easy to find. The stuff was very friendly. I got a free of charge update to the Hacienda. Dinner and breakfast have been very good. Hotel is close to the archeologic area. I walked to the Maya ruins.

It was safe and reasonably clean (though there was some dirt/broken pieces of something under our sink). It's a very short walk to the ruins and includes a good buffet breakfast and access to the pool at the nicer hotel next door. And there were fun little lizards everywhere in the common areas. However, it was incredibly loud, right off...

We strive to provide fine accommodations at a budget price in a very friendly, service oriented, small and therefor very personal environment, right across the road from the Uxmal Archeological Park. You Can Not get a better room given the location, at our rates, anywhere else. We hope to be of service to you in the future.

The room rate was great value and included a lovely breakfast which was served on the terrace plus use of both the small pool at Casa Del Mago and the main 'Hacienda Uxmal' pool which was adjacent. The staff member who checked us in and looked after us was excellent, really helpful and knowledgeable, even offered to get us drinks...

La Casa del Mago at Uxmal is sited right outside the ruins as part of the Hacienda. You can see that the hotel was a wonder in years past but has fallen into disrepair. Our first room had an overflowing toilet which had left the floor underwater and the whole section of the hotel stinking of sewage. The second room...

Even though it is part of the bigger complex of Uxmal Lodge and Hacienda, the building of Casa del Mago looks completedly deserted. The ground floor is even still under construction. It is called a B&B but it is far from what one can expect from a B&B. it is noisy, unwelcoming and desolate. The rooms only have blinds, so...

Right across the street from the ruins which made it very convenient to visit during the day and then go back for the sound and light show. The price was right. No a/c but it wasn't super hot.
